Board-certified dermatologist Shereene Idriss shows how to use benzoyl peroxide cleanser. Apply to dry skin after removing makeup, let it sit, then rinse. Use a white towel since benzoyl peroxide bleaches fabric.
I'm a board certified dermatologist and here's how you use an active cleanser to get the benefits for your skin. Step one we take off our makeup. This is with a micellar water. Step 2 We use the active cleanser and apply it to dry skin, massaging it in especially on the points of your face where they are the most problematic. And you let it sit because FaceTime is key. Step 3 you wash. Et voila. You use a white towel to make sure it doesn't get bleached by the benzoyl peroxide. Your face might get red transiently, but it will go away and now you have clear skin.
