A clinician explains why injectable peptides sold in the wellness market are nothing like regulated drugs like Ozempic. Products like BPC-157 and GHK are unregulated, potentially contaminated, and lack safety data, yet people inject them while fearing approved medications that underwent rigorous clinical trials.

Nightmare. 74 of you are interested in injectable peptides, yet 74 of you want nothing to do with Ozempic. Plot twist. Ozempic is quite literally an injectable peptide. This is where I pause. Not because I'm pushing Ozempic. We are so fearful of a peptide that is highly regulated, highly manufactured under strict guidelines with long term clinical trials behind it. Just because of our distrust of big Pharma, how are we throwing our bodies to the wind and trusting this natural wellness industry? Because, because of our perception that it's benevolent not to on peptides. Cuz I actually do think that the science is interesting but scares me as a doctor when it comes to the world of injectable peptides like BPC157 or GHK. CU is are we turning our own bodies into human guinea pigs? It literally says on the vial not for human use. And we're buying these peptides from wellness experts or gym bros who basically told us that they're using these peptides and they felt fine. Vibes are not clinical trials without any sort of regulation. You my friend have no idea where it's coming from. It could be coming from someone's kitchen, coming from a crystal meth lab. Given how effed up the world has shown us it actually is, it's healthy for us to be questioning where we are buying our products from. Because you're injecting this into your body and if this vial, let's say it's contaminated, maybe not with crystal meth but with bacteria, you can quite literally die. I'm not anti curiosity. I think we should be curious. We should be learning more about peptides. We should be exploring, exploring this world, understanding it theoretically and hypothetically first before we put our bodies through unknown potential benefits or harm.
