If you're thinking of getting laser hair removal, this is what should not happen. I'm a board certified dermatologist and this is a laser hair fail. First and foremost, you must shave before a treatment because the laser targets the root of the hair and burns it. If your hair is long on the surface of the skin, you're going to burn your skin. Number two, that is why we do not recommend waxing. If you wax, you yank the hair out of the roots and the laser cannot target anything and you've just wasted money. Number three, other things that are wrong with this video no eye protection. And number four, this is actually an IPL device. And if you are getting ipl, make sure to protect the skin with a gel barrier.
