Morning Chit Chat - Peptides + Giveaway!

In this informal YouTube Live session, Shereene Idriss, assisted by Tiffany, navigates a range of technical and content-related challenges while engaging her audience. The stream begins with Shereene troubleshooting YouTube Live features—pinning comments, creating shorts, using polls, retouch effects, green screen, and the inability to invite guests—while Tiffany demonstrates how to monitor live likes and save the broadcast. Shereene then launches a community-driven giveaway tied to reaching a likes threshold, using live polls to gauge viewers' interest in streamers, peptide injections, and the drug Ozempic. The audience’s responses (e.g., ~70% think Ozempic isn’t a peptide, 75% are curious about peptide injections) shape a broader discussion on the safety, regulation, and sourcing of injectable peptides, with Shereene warning about unregulated products and drawing parallels to broader wellness trends. The conversation shifts to Shereene’s skincare expertise, addressing a viewer’s melasma question, explaining the role of prescription versus over‑the‑counter routines, and promoting her own brand, Major Fade. Throughout, she reflects on her authentic, unfiltered speaking style, the desire for regular live interaction, and logistical details of the giveaway (eligibility, description box link, winner announcement). The stream ends with plans for future live sessions, moderation concerns, and a reminder to subscribe.

So for example, if I want to pin a comment, I can't write a comment.
Did you say you did it last night?
No, I pinned the person's comment. Do you see what I mean? That's lighting is on. I don't know what this is. At least 1 minute of content is to create a short. Oh, you can make a short out of it.
Oh, yeah, you did that, by the way.
What, I did a short?
Yeah, but you didn't publish it.
Oh, okay. I don't know what I'm doing. So I did a poll. Okay. No, but the Q and A's, they have to ask me questions.
Yeah.
Hi. Hi. So whoever is joining, just quickly. This is Tiffany. I asked her to help me so I could figure out how to save these lives. Because I'm doing them impromptu. I'm not scheduling them and I want to make sure that I could stick. So she gave me a Google link for the winners and I'm just. So this is more of like a show and tell. She's teach. She's teaching me things like, you see here, you can watch on the live. I can see how many people are on, right? If I say we need to get. I want to see like, I want to get to. If we get to 100 likes for this live, this is like, I'm just. This is not real. But if you get to 100 likes for this live, we're going to do a giveaway. So I want you guys to show me how do I see that we're getting likes on the live. Can you guys like the video right now? You guys are helping me just figure this out. So if we're going to get to 100 likes, going to have a giveaway today. This is a test run. Okay. So I could see the light, see it pause. We're maybe going to. I don't think I'm saving this. So guys, don't waste too much time with me today. That's number one. So I could see who's liking it in real time. The only other question I have is if I want to save this live, which I do want to save, how do I save it from my phone if it's not scheduled with the comments showing? So if somebody wants to watch it again, I want you guys to be able to see the comments so you can see the actual discussions that are happening while I'm recording the live. Does that. I'm really curious, what is this thing that's in effect, what is my microphone, But I can't invite somebody onto this live. Like, for example, Aaron 6507. I cannot. No, I can't invite her into the live.
What are your other features here?
That's it.
Now, what are your other features here?
So one is retouch. One is like a poll. One is a background effect. Like if. Like, what is this?
You know what? Everything is.
Okay. I don't know what the hell is. Is this. Oh, okay. That's like an effect which I don't care for. We don't want effects. That's your microphone. What is this thing? Green screen. What is this? Oh, so this was a very funny picture I took last night, actually. How do I move me? How do I move me? It was my daughter's legs in the bed. Do you see this picture? Look at this. I don't think I showed you, Tiff, but she was sitting there, And I was FaceTiming Katie, and I took a screenshot because it looked like Amur's.
Yeah, it does.
It looks like it was his luxury little girl pants. Okay, how do I get rid of this green screen now? Hold on. So I'm so sorry. Hold on. This is a completely useless life, by the way. I want to get rid of this green screen. So we're back here. All right. What is this camera? This is lighting. That's my camera. Okay. And that's. There's really no difference. It's just lighting. Okay, that is that. So people who are here. I'm really trying to figure this out because I do want to use YouTube more. I'm just annoyed that I can't invite you on the live. I know, Natalie. I'm going to be going live more regularly on YouTube because I do miss the community aspect of social media, but I'm trying to figure out how to use it so it's not just a complete show. I can't invite you guys. Okay, let's do a poll. I'm curious. Tiff, watch this. Okay, Community. Where's the poll again? How did I do the poll? Okay, let's do a poll. Let's see how many of these people use or watch streamers? Is that the question? Like, how many streamers? How many watch streamers? Very, like, start the poll. The problem is, you see, So I put the poll on the screen. You wouldn't see it when you rewatch the live. You couldn't see that this was on my. But, like, why is it so big? I'm just so curious to see. Why is it covering my face? Anyway, I'm curious to see how many people here watch streamers. Do you guys even know what streamers are? I don't know. So apparently there's a. I'm gonna sound like an ancient dinosaur, but there is a website called Streamyard, where if I go live, right? And I log on from Streamyard, I can broadcast my live both to YouTube and Instagram, which kind of defeats the purpose because I like the. The YouTube community. I think it's just my followers on Instagram. Like, there's a bunch of weirdos, and that's why I stopped doing them. But I'm curious, you see? Like, I mean, I'm 55, 45, watch streamers. You guys watch live streams all the time. So streamers are people who will broadcast live things that they're doing. So, for example, let's say I'm cooking dinner. I'll go and I'll live stream me cooking dinner and just. Do I talk about my skincare? Like, I'm confused or you're just watching me chop an onion?
There are different, like, doing different things.
Are you guys watching people chop an onion? I'm literally learning. What are you guys watching? Okay, but I can't ask them that. So ask in the comments. Okay, but how can I. I can't go into the comment and ask nobody or verbally ask. Okay, for those who watch live streamers, what are you guys watching?
What kind of.
What kind of streamers do you guys watch when you're watching live streamers?
Gary Vee.
I watch finance, fashion, and handbag. Okay, but what are you watching?
Like, some people, they're reviewing handbags, but.
They'Re talking to people. Like, they're actually. They're, like, talking to their audience. They're doing a live talking. It's not like they're just recording themselves passively taking a dump.
Yeah, exactly.
Right? Yeah.
Skincare and comedy, makeup.
If anything, we just. I watch gaming. I would watch as a streamer, but I don't play games.
I normally watch someone doing their makeup or skincare routine. Like, makeup, getting ready and that.
I could stream that. Like, I could get ready. I just sometimes feel like, am I wasting people's time than watching me?
No, people love watching you do things. Anybody? That's the whole concept.
Okay, okay.
Cleaning.
I don't want to talk about the political commentary. I'm sick of the world. I'm sick of this world. All extremes suck. That's the truth. You can stream anything while answering questions. Something. Okay, no, you don't want to hear me.
Get Ready with me.
Fashion Week.
People love Get Ready with me.
See? Okay, okay, okay. All right. But I'm, like, surprised that 40 of you guys on YouTube watch streamers. I'm genuinely. I did not know that. Okay. Cooking. All right, so maybe. I don't know. I don't know. Apparently, Streamyard costs 300 bucks a month, and your girl here is not someone who gets sponsorships and does stuff from my social.
But you could do that on YouTube.
What? What?
You could stream on YouTube.
You could. I know, but I'm trying to figure out how to maximize this and really figure out how to do it. Right. The thing that I hate about YouTube Lives, and I'll be honest, what I loved about Instagram lives is that I couldn't. Like, for example, Martado has a question. Do you know what streamers is? Not that 50. I don't know. I would invite Martado onto the live, and then I'd have an active conversation with her in my live. And I would do this on Instagram all the time. And it's my favorite thing to do, especially when we're talking about love affairs. Love affairs and love advice and, like, relationship advice. And so for me, that's what's missing on the YouTube live. And so I was trying to figure out, how can I invite people? Apparently, you can do it when you use Streamyard. And that's how the conversation of streaming and streamers came into play, because I'm trying to learn so we could do this for. For more fun. You know what I mean? It's kind of like a little. Yeah, I like inviting you guys in so other people see who's watching me and it becomes a real community. And so that's what I loved about Instagram Live that I find very difficult on YouTube. And I feel like I am then talking for an hour, which I could do. I could talk to myself for an hour, but I want to. Even though I'm reading your comments and talking to you, when you go back and you rewatch it, you're not actively seeing the comments in real time. You know what I mean? Who cares? No. Heavily meditated. 1, 1, 1, 1 Heavily meditated says user. User. Who cares? I care because for me, this is not just me. It's us. That's why I started social media, and I wanted to have conversations with people. And if. Oh, oh, I see user. Users asking stupid questions. Let's. How do we block someone other than hide user. Hide user on this channel? I. I hid. User. User. I see what you were saying. I see. Do you see what I mean? Who cares what. I got you. I got you. I Deleted. User. User. User. Users out. Okay. Anyway. No, no. Who cares? Regarding. It was a deeply. It was. Oh, I see. I see, I see. I see. Heavily meditated. I see. I see. I see. Lo siento. Okay. We're all gonna make mistakes. Got you. Now, what else I need to learn on this? Okay? So I'm going to save this. Peter ATIA sucks. I'm, like, pissed that he was in the Epstein files. Like, but also, he gave good information, but he always rubbed me off. Rubbed me off, rubbed me the wrong way. The wrong way. He rubbed me a little bit the wrong way. Like, I don't like people who come from above. Like, yo, yo, yo. I know all the information. Or even if they come from above, Like, I'm a super nerd, and this is all the information. And you have to listen to me. Like, anybody who comes from above kind of pisses me off. And I'm like you. I'd have to listen to you. And for what it's worth, okay, so I went to med school. You know this tiff. I'm a doctor, right? When you go to med school, you graduate with a medical degree, but I would never trust somebody with just an MD to treat me. You gotta go to residency. You gotta go to residency. You gotta go. Do you know the difference? You know the difference? Yes, yes. Like, you go to undergrad, you get your babies, whatever. Yes. Then you go to medical school. Four years, you get your md, then you do your residency. Yes, you're technically a doctor, but. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You haven't practiced. I don't want you treating me like, do you know what I mean? I want you to go do your extra training. He never did residency.
How do you skip that?
You can. You don't have to. Like, you can get your md, you're allowed to get an md, become a consultant. You know a lot. You know what I mean? Not that he's maybe treating people, you know, a lot, but I'm like. The real life practice of medicine changes the whole discussion of how and what you learn. I've never seen a patient, and I feel like, what? Like, very honestly, yes. You learn you need to use a retinol, and you need to go through the purging phase, Right? But no. Fuck, no. You don't need to be actively peeling and red and inflamed to get results. You're burning your skin off. And in the long run, people who try to power through it for months on end with no end in sight end up looking older, faster. That's not something you learn from a textbook. I thought my nose is running. But anyway, I digressed. He got me on a tangent. But that's my view on Peter Tia. Like. Oh, and also the peptide stacking. Okay, let me ask you guys this. Let's see if they want to know about peptides. How do I change this? The poll? Yeah, okay, okay. Replace. Okay, hold on. This is so much more fun. Do we care about peptides and injections? Okay, hold on. I'm so curious about what you guys think about this. This is why I started social when I did it like this, Tiff, not when I had to pre plan my posts. Hold on, hold on. I am so curious if you guys care about this. Oh, interesting. Okay, okay. They care about peptides. What is Emmanuel saying? Okay, thanks. I started read it all. I have to. Besides injections. That's so. Nope, I use them. Okay, we're gonna give this a minute until we get to like 150 votes. So it's more representative of the group because we're at 280. So let's at least be at 140.
So you got to do a reminder about the likes.
Okay. Keep liking if you guys. Oh, I see. This is hard. That's the hard part. Yeah. If you guys like this video up to 100 likes, we will have a giveaway that Tiffany's gonna help me link below. So in the description. So let's get to 100 likes now. Peptides. Okay, so 78. You guys are voting. Keep voting. I want to see 140 votes on the peptide question because I'm really curious if you guys are into this shit or not. And then let me blow your minds. And we're gonna ask you. Before we blow your minds, we're gonna ask you another question because I don't think people associate oneonone. Let's see, let's see. So get to 100 likes. We're gonna do a little giveaway. I'm gonna figure it out. The giveaway. Just so you guys know, if you are a subscriber in the US, the UK or the eu, you guys can get a gift card for my brand because that's where I ship. But if not, you're gonna get something else. And you're not necessarily gonna get a gift card. It just depends on my mood. And if you're completely international, let's say you're in Bhutan watching this, I will send you a gift. So you guys are gonna get there. All right, we're 110 votes. I want to get to half of the viewers at least to vote on this question, because I'm curious. We're already at 75, so I'm guessing it's people are interested in peptide injections. But I want to ask another question now, so. Okay, I'm just. I don't have patience. I'm not gonna wait. Where's the full. Again? We're going to go back here. This is so much fun. Hold on. So tip. I'm going to ask him this. Okay. This is a jeopardy. Question is. Okay, let's do this. Okay. All right, let's do this. Okay, we're at 100 likes. We're doing a giveaway once. We're going to post this and save this. Even though this was a test run, I was not planning on saving this. It was too big. Okay, hold on, hold on, hold on. Is Ozempic a peptide? So 70.5% of people were interested in peptide injections, and they're all for it and all of this stuff. Now I want to see a hundred or so votes asking me, I'm asking you guys, is Ozempic a peptide? I'm just curious. I don't know what people think about that, and I want to know what we know, what we don't know. There's no judgment. By the way. Don't try to like game the system here. You're not gaming anything.
All anonymous.
We need moderators. Who's gonna moderate. But I don't know if I trust you, AJ 32384. Hold on. Okay, I don't know. It's on peptide. Manjaro is. Someone says, yes, it is. I love your products. I love you, too. Okay, so are we at 100 votes? Interesting that nearly 70% say Ozempic is not a peptide. Okay, here, one last question and then we're going to talk about this very quick. Hold on. One last question. Okay, so 75 of you love the idea of peptides and want to learn about peptides. 70% of you don't think Ozempic is a peptide. Would you go on Ozempic?
Totally anonymous.
Yeah, this is anonymous. I'm not even gonna. You can't even re. Watch the polls. You can't see. You cannot see who voted. Let's see. Okay. All right, hold on, hold on. You guys can totally vote here because no one's gonna. I don't know who's voting. I can't see your names. It's not going to get published in terms of who voted for this. It's just the overall number. So I wish I Took a screenshot of just the polls.
The polls, yeah. We'll see after if we could save them.
But good call. First, let me just do this. Hold on, I'm just taking a screenshot of that. Hold on. Just so I could have it. So would you go on Ozempic? No. 75 of you percent of you would not go on Ozempic. Okay. All right, so let's recap this. And we're already at 122 votes. Okay. Can I get rid of the pool?
If you want to, yeah. You've got your answer.
How do I get rid of the pole? No, that's not. Let's retouch. I don't know what that is. What is this? Take this off. Take that off. Replace that.
Oh, do you want to replace it?
No. I don't know. Get rid of it. Okay, so blow your brains out. Ozempic is a peptide. Ozempic is a peptide. And Cami Rose 3009 says too many side effects and yet people are self medicating with peptide injections left and right. And 75% of you said you're interested in peptides. And yet when I ask you about Ozempic, it's a hard no because now it's a medicated regulated drug. And so that is my point with peptides. And I think people do not understand that what they are injecting because it appears quote unquote natural, because it appears part of normal diet, that it has no side effects. But the truth is, just because wellness influencers say we can go on a peptide and I have had no side effects, doesn't mean it will not happen potentially to you. So you are becoming your own guinea pig with these stacking peptides. And the scariest part is when you receive the peptides, it's not for human use. It is for testing, it is for labs because it hasn't been cleared. Now I understand why people don't trust the fda. Trust me, I get it. But the reality is you need checks and balances because there's a lot of fuckers out there, look at the Epstein files and people in the Epstein files who are going to take advantage of you. And so if you wouldn't go on Ozempic, why are you so willing to put your body through an injection of something? Forget the type of peptide that hasn't passed the regulation. So it's not the peptides that I'm worried about, it's the surrounding world around the peptides that has not been regulated to make sure that you are going to Be safe or at least regulated enough where all of the different side effects are listed and understood. So you know what you're putting in your body. Like, why are we more willing to snort cocaine than to take Advil? I don't get it. And the funniest thing is. And I. I'm not trying to put you guys on the spot, but the funniest thing is when I ask people, would you go on Ozempic? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. But then when you take Peptides. Yeah, Ozambi is, hello, Hello. I'd rather take Advil than snort cocaine. Okay, okay. No, it's not. Ozempic good. Ozempic bad. That's the other problem with social. And that's why I like. I like the lives, because social media has made everything. Ozempic good, Peptide bad, G, U, C, K, good, Advil bad. No, there is good and bad to both. But it's about understanding the risks. It's about understanding the implications. But it's also about understanding what process has something gone through to make sure that I'm not going to, in five years develop a tumor in my gallbladder. You know what I mean? What process has something gone through to make sure that it's not contaminated with E. Coli that I just injected into my body? Like, do you know what I'm saying? Do we? And it's not just, what are the risks of ghkcu, it's where was the GHKC you made? Under which factory? Having a skincare brand. Looking at the different contract manufacturers, there are some contract manufacturers who are like, holy, I hope no one ever buys a moisturizer made from there. And there are some amazing contract manufacturers who are like, wow, they follow every protocol. So ghk, say you, whatever, ghkcu, where is it being made? How is it being followed? Maybe it's some dick in a meth lab in a basement who's mixing it together, putting a nice green label with flat flowers, wellness and saying, and then there's crystal meth on the side. I don't know. Do you know what I'm saying? I don't know and neither do you. And anybody who says that they know, they're full of. Because they don't know. And if they're making it in their own kitchen and that's how they know, shame on them. Because what regulation are they following to really make sure and ensure that it's quiet, right, Correctly done?
People are asking if you're gonna post about it.
Yeah.
You're gonna do a post about.
Should I do a post about this? I got too into my thing. I stopped reading the comments.
There were also some comments saying, oh, they thought you were talking about topical peptides.
No, no, I'm talking about injection peptides. Yeah, exactly. No, I get myself, by the way, I'm not stressed. It's so funny. Like my husband, sometimes when I'm, like, raising my kids, I'll get so animated, and he'll be like, shreen, I worry about you. I'm like, no, no, don't worry about me. I. When I get into something, I get into something passionate. I get passionate. I'm Lebanese. Okay. And we're loud humans.
And on the question of topical peptides.
YouTube.
This Saturday is on topical.
The YouTube this Saturday is on topical peptides. But I was just. Yeah, okay.
And about the injectable peptides.
Hi.
By the way, if you guys want a post about it, she will do a post about it.
We can record it today. We are. But now I wish I took screenshots of these polls because it was so good. You have one. I have one. Oh, God. Okay. All right.
What do you think about NAD injections? You're so real.
Okay.
My husband does the same to me.
You're not alone. Okay. Coffee or tea? Hot or iced? What is this? Add a Q A sticker? Who's talking about tea or coffee? Oh, me. No. Okay. This is why I get distracted. Okay. Anyway, this was fun. I'm going to end this live. Why don't we get to 200 likes and I'll end the live. You already. I know. Hold on, hold on. I'm still going to do the giveaway. Okay, but let's get to 200 likes. No one's gonna want to like it to end the life. Okay, let's get to 200 likes and then I will. Is it good bad? What's good bad? Would you go on Ozempic? Oh, that's. What. No, I don't know what she's saying. Have a good day. What about injection? Don't end it. Halo. What? Have a great day. Get to 200 likes. Let's get to 200 likes. I need to go. You guys want to save this video? Let me save this video. I need to see if I could save it with the community chat, because I think the chat is more interesting than just me going on rants. And I think if I could save it with the poll, that would be cool. Do we need a computer to do that?
We're gonna see.
Do you want to open your computer?
I can't save it from a thing that you're currently set up right now. It's if I scheduled it beforehand, if that's the case scenario, I can teach.
You how to do that. Okay, What is this? The poll is in the chat. The poll is in the chat. I'm trying to figure out how to. This is now this. Now we're back to what the original intent of this video. We went on a huge tangent. The original intent of this video was just for me to kind of figure out how to make sure that I say these correctly. Because last night, saved in two parts. I got kicked off YouTube and then I didn't know how to put a link for a giveaway, so. So Tiffany came in today to help me figure this shit out. And when I go live, I apologize if I say bad words, but this is normally how I speak on my YouTube on Saturday. I do try to maintain a more composed composure, but this is normally how I communicate. And so if you don't like it, I apologize to you for you, but this is how I speak. Okay, what is the giveaway for? Just because life sucks and I feel like we need to enjoy little things and that no longer happens. And so that's why we're doing giveaways. Guys, we need 20 more likes. 19 more likes. Let's go.
In the meantime, someone ask battling melasma for 18 months. What should they do?
Who asked that? You see, like, where is that question? I know, it's so where. More up. More up high. Battling. Okay, let's pin. So now I could see her name. Catherine 9674. Do you know I have a skincare brand or no, I'm just curious. This is. Again, this is not meant to put anybody on the spot or make you feel bad. I just genuinely don't know if people know. So I'm going to ask Catherine9674, do we know that I have a skincare brand? Giveaway is for everyone and anyone, but.
Be in the description box.
The only people who can't participate, by the way, in the giveaway, because you guys live in a state that does not not allow you to participate.
No, not state.
California.
No, Canada.
Oh, oh, see, that sucks for them Canadians. Why?
It's Canadian.
Oh, man. My husband's Canadian. You guys are very rigid. Okay, did she answer? I don't know if she answered. You see, I can't keep track. Kind of like California.
Sure, there's someone else with the same question.
Okay, well, I do have a. I do have a YouTube and I do have a skincare line. And basically the premise of Major fade, my line is for melasma. Now, it's not going to treat melasma. You need to see a doctor and you need to get a prescription for that. But when you have melasma, you have to have a way of life about your skincare routine. It becomes part of your way of living where every day you target pigmentation through various different actives. And I've done a lot of YouTubes on this. And that's why over the counter everyday skincare routine, I would say, is as important as prescription. Because prescription you cannot be on forever. Whereas why is somebody paying me? Where. Why is somebody giving me a dollar?
Because they want to. You don't need to.
Thank you. You don't have to. But I appreciate that. Whereas with prescription you have to be off of it. So in order to maintain the results of your prescription treatment, you have to be every day going to the gym. Like if you go get lipos suction, you got to go to the gym. You're not going to be skinny forever even if you did lipos suction. Okay? If you use hydroquinone, you're not going to be melasma forever. You have to be on a skincare routine. If you go to the dentist and get a dental cleaning, you're not going to have pearly whites forever if you don't brush your teeth. So your skincare routine is more important than I would argue. And I give this prescription a lot hydroquinone. That being said, you have to understand and have the right expectations from each. Your skincare routine is not going to clear you. Your prescription is, but you have to maintain it with the skincare routine. Go watch my YouTube video. Okay, I got to go right 207 likes. Okay, let's. How do I end this now?
Okay, the giveaway will be in the description box of the live.
How do I remove this unpin message? Okay, okay, okay. Hold on. All right, guys, so now I'm practicing again. The giveaway is going to be in the description box of this live. Thank you for the $99 from the live. I really appreciate it. I didn't realize you could pay me. I thought that was just like with roses on Tick Tock. No. Did I get paid on stream? Did I ever get the cash from Tick Tock? I don't know if I ever did because I don't monetize it.
The description box is not up yet because the life has not ended.
Okay.
I have to wait until the live ends and then come back to the description box.
Let me hang up. I'm gonna hang up. Put your notification bell on for my page. This is going to happen much more regularly. I'm going to put a description box with a link to the sign up page. And tomorrow on our community page, the announce the winner will be announced. And that is going to happen. I don't know, once, twice, five times a week, maybe eight times a week. I do not know. It just depends on what when I feel like popping on. But I'm going to try to make this much more regular. Okay. Canadians cannot enter because Canada apparently not. California does not allow giveaways on live platforms. So take it up with your government. Okay, but we have a lot of problems in the US so I don't know. Okay. All right, I will see you guys later.
