So I have a bottle of water. This gets wet under the sink, not on top of your white pants. Okay. It's a wet cotton round over here. The way I do this is then I take the cleanser, I apply it to the round just like that. I'm not putting that much. Can you guys see? I don't know why. There's like a white. And then I massage it into the cotton round just like this. And imagine this is your face. Your face has full of makeup. I just kind of wet it. Now, keep in mind, the water is freezing, but this is what I do. And I wash everything off. And that is how I clean my face every single day. I do a first round, and basically I first focus on my eyes. Then I go back and wash this underneath the sink and go in with a second time, and I go all across my face. By the time I'm done rinsing, nothing is left behind, and it takes everything off. I also have. I'm going to show you guys because they sent it to me. I think it's not an embargo anymore. Can you check if KVD has a waterproof? Hold on. Double check, Double check. Sephora. They sent it to me as a gift. They sent me this because they know I'm a fan of their eyeliner. I'm not paid by this company, but I use the KVD tattoo liner. This is the liner I have on. This one is a waterproof one that they just launched. Because it's Friday's dirty, we're going to pick another day of the week. Saturday. Sure, why not? It is the best liner. The best liner. So if you guys wear waterproof makeup. Is this dry? No, it's not fully dry yet. Let's add another line so you guys don't say that I smudged it. I don't know where I put it. It's over here. Hold on. I want to just do another Demo. I feel like we're on qvc, guys. Hold on. Okay, we're going to let this dry and I'm going to answer a question. Can I tell you my thoughts on chemical peels for melasma? I can. When you have melasma, you have to be very careful about breaking your skin barrier, especially in the heat, if you live somewhere very hot or if it's summertime or the sun is at highest intensity. So normally if you're going to do a chemical peel, that is an in office peel. So a medical chemical peel, not a bullshit medical grade at home chemical peel, I would not recommend doing it in the middle of summer or somewhere where you're very, very, very living in a very, very warm climate. Because when you break your skin barrier when you have melasma, you're more sensitive to heat and it can flare up. So just be careful about doing that. But if you're doing at home peels like the flash mask two times a week and your face is not actively peeling off or your barrier is not actively breaking apart, then absolutely I recommend doing those typ. Less is more in the long run. Going wrong and strong. Where your face falls off is not worth it. Okay, let us wet this round. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I'm making a mess over here today. And then this is nice and dry. Okay. All right. Demoing on a waterproof eyeliner hand cream. If you guys go to Home Depot, you know which hand cream I love, any cream they sell at a hardware store you know is going to be damn good. And one of my favorite hand creams is Working Hands by Okeefes. It's the best. And they sell it at the hardware store. Okay, ready? So then same deal, applying the cleanser, massaging it into the cotton round and then washing it off, it comes right off. This is honestly the best cleanser I've ever used. And obviously I'm biased because I made it, but I know what the hell I've made and I love it. It is. I think cleansers are the most underrated step in any single routine. And nobody focuses so much on the cleanser unless you're doing like a whole fancy double cleanse and an oil cleanse and all this bullshit. But it is one of the best cleansers I have ever used. And I actually have used it on an airplane when traveling while sitting in my seat because I didn't want to get up to go use the bathroom because I get grossed out by airplane bathrooms and turbulence It's a whole situation. I get scared in the bathroom, we're gonna hit turbulence. So I do it from my seat and it is amazing. Okay, did you guys see that? I have an asymmetrical jawline due to my sleeping position. They advise me to go to facial sculpt. Okay, buddy. Ciel, which means sky in French. Everybody has an asymmetrical jawline. Look how asymmetric. Like, oh, my God. This side of my face is fugly. This side of my face is the good side. I have no jawline here. I have a jawline here. My left boob, which is also the side of my face, is bigger than my right. My left hand is bigger than my right. Everybody is asymmetric. And it has nothing to do with how you're sleeping. And it has everything to do with in utero when you're being made. Because when you are inside your mother's belly, when you're being made, it literally you're being made from the midline out. And that is why we all have asymmetries. Some people, it's more obvious. It's less obvious when you're younger. As you're getting older, things become more obvious because we start losing bone density. So look at this. You see how much narrower this is compared to this? Everything starts to become a little bit softer. We start to get wider, our fat pads start to shrink, we start to lose the elasticity. And so you start to notice it more. But you can do all the facial sculpting in the world, all that stuff, it's never going to get you anywhere. It's just not. Because your structure inherently is asymmetric. Unless, of course, you get an implant like a jawline implant, but that involves plastic surgery and it is much more invasive. Please. I tolerate flash mask. When I put it at night and leave it to the next day. Can I put another product on it like the rest of the routine? On top of it? If you're sleeping with the flash mask overnight, it's my night to be lazy. So it's the only one that I use that night. And I hope you're not doing this every night of the week because you're going to mess up your skin barrier. So that's something that you do once, maybe twice a week as a one step routine. But when you wash it off in the morning, you can follow it up as well with the serum and the moisturizer. Dr. Idris SPF is hopefully happening in 2025. My team is going to kill me because I gave you guys a year. But it is very hard to make a sunscreen, which is crazy because we've landed on the moon and we only have so many filters in the US that you would have thought that every kind of combination has been approved. But it is extremely hard to make a sunscreen in the US if you're doing it the right way from scratch. And so hopefully, fingers crossed, you can get it together for next year. It has been a very hard labor of love post surgery scars. Well, I do have in my practice what I like to call a procedural kit and it does include the this, this and actually this, this, a post procedure kit. And this helps to minimize swelling and redness. So if you have a cut or a scar, using this on your scar, as it is red on a daily basis can help with the redness. So it doesn't leave behind any sort of any sort of post inflammatory erythema or discoloration. And using this on a scar is going to help minimize it from turning brown. And so I do use these two on my scars in my practice and for my patients. And then obviously I always include the soft wash because you need to be washing your face correctly and gently before getting any sort of procedures. If your scars pop up, using a silicone gel sheet or a silicone based product with a cream can be helpful. I prefer the sheets, but you want to keep those on 12 hours a day or so. I'm using alpha orbutin, tranexamic acid and azelaic acid, but my hyperpigmentation isn't fading. You're not using the best ingredients. So alpha arbutin. Yes, absolutely. Love it has to be at the right concentration. Tranexamic acid I always throw in there because you're throwing the kitchen sink in there. And I like to combine it with an acid to make sure it's at its highest peak performance. And that's why we have it in our flash mask. Azelaic acid is not necessarily the strongest ingredient out there for discoloration, but it's one that you also incorporate into a routine. It's not my first choice, hence why I decided not to include it in the major fade line. Plus it can pill. And so it's not super elegant. If you're really trying to figure discoloration, it's not just those three ingredients. It is literally the whole purple line, which is tranexamic acid. Yes, but glycolic acid, lactic acid, arbutin. Yes. Kojic acid, di glucosil, gallic acid, vitamin C, certain peptides, Certain peptides. Niacinamide can help with the redness. If you're not allergic to niacinamide. D Glucosil, Gallic acid, those are the big ones that you have to have. Plus, if you want to take it up a notch, adding an over the counter retinol. And if you want to take it up a notch even more, a prescription hydroquinone. That is how you deal with hyperpigmentation, not just those three ingredients. I have done videos about topical steroid withdrawal and they were on my TikTok. I think we've posted them on YouTube shorts. I can't remember, but we'll double check. Hydroquinone does work for sunspots, as long as it's not cancerous. But what I will say is do not use hydroquinone as a spot treatment. That is the worst thing you could do for your skin because you're gonna get whiteness around that spot and it's not what you want. You want to be using it evenly around your skin to even out your skin tone and to brighten your skin tone, not to cause lightning just in one spot. It's not the goal of hydroquinone, but I would not do it necessarily just for sunspots. I think using over the counter first to see how your skin balances is the way I would go. And I usually reserve hydroquinone if you have melasma or if you're going in for a procedure with a laser that might cause rebound hyperpigmentation. You're using a vitamin C serum. Can I use your moisturizer that has vitamin C2? Sure. But you're double dipping and it might be redundant. So if you want to spend your money that way, you can, but you don't need to. You could just pick one or the other. Do self tanners make you more sensitive to the products you use in your routine and overall cause acne? So when I use self tanners, my skin gets so dehydrated and dry and my sunspots become so much more obvious. So I'm not the biggest fan of self tanners. I use self tanners before I go to the beach so people don't pressure me to get some color under the sun. And I use self tanners when I'm exposing my white legs to the world. But more than that, I don't use them regularly because I do think in the long run it causes a little bit more damage to the skin in terms of dehydration. Now, if you're gonna have to put a gun to my head and say, pick a suntan versus self tanner. Of course, all day, every day I'll pick self tanners, but it's a personal thing where I don't love the way my skin feels when I use it. I have noticed that I occasionally break out a little bit after using it. So if you get blemishes, I get it. And you can use a normal skincare routine like the major fade line after using a self tanner. Yes, you can. Let's see. Why? What do you want to say? Hold on. I got lost. I think I adore you. Hold on.
