Hey, Dr. Idris, are powder sunscreens useless? One thing you probably don't know is that the FDA does not approve powdered sunscreens as safe and effective. But that doesn't mean that they're not safe or that they're not effective. The question is, how are you using it? Because if you're using a powdered sunscreen as your main form of protection against the sun, as a dermatologist, as a human being with common sense, I'm going to tell you it's probably not going to be enough. But if you're using a powdered sunscreen as a way to reapply sunscreen throughout the day, when you're out and about living in a city, going from building to building something is better than nothing. Because most likely you're not going to reapply a thicker cream or an ointment over your makeup. They're not useless. It's just a matter of how you're going to use it and under what setting you're going to use it. If you guys have any questions about sunscreen, skincare, eyeliner, shades, let me know below.
