This is a YouTube Shorts titled "Skin Tips Post-Chemical Peel #shorts" (created 2025-12-11) featuring a single speaker — likely a dermatologist — giving post-chemical-peel/laser aftercare advice. Key points: don’t rub or peel treated skin (only cleanly snip loose flaps), avoid sun exposure and irritating sunscreens (use physical barriers like visors), prioritize barrier repair with occlusive moisturizers such as Vaseline, and avoid heat/exercise/hot showers to reduce inflammation and hyperpigmentation. The clip references the speaker’s recent CO2 treatment and directs viewers to a full YouTube video for more tips.

Come peel some skin with me so it's absolutely not quick Skin Tips Post a chemical peel or any sort of laser that's going to damage your skin barrier. FYI, I just did a CO2 for my eyes. Number one, you're going to be tempted to peel it off and even rub it. Trust me, I am living it and I'm currently humbled by this. Do not rub and do not peel. Going to increase your risk of inflammation and potentially hyperpigmentation. If you are tempted to cut it off, make sure your scissors are clean, get some alcohol, clean the blades and only snip the areas of skin that are currently lifting up. Number two Avoid any sort of sun exposure. Make sure the sunscreen that you're using is not going to irritate or inflame your skin. Sometimes I even tell patients, skip sunscreen. Yes, it's blasphemy from a dermatologist, but instead go for a physical UV protector like a visor. Instead, make sure you're not sitting by a window and do not go for your daily afternoon stroll where the UV index is at its highest. Tip number three Moisturizing. Moisturizing, moisturizing. The most pure form of anything that can help heal your barrier is Vaseline. And last, last, last. Maybe a fourth tip. Avoid anything that is going to induce heat on your face. Hot yoga, Working out esteem. Hot shower because it's going to inflame the area more and make any risk of discoloration potentially worse. So it's your lucky day. Doctor's orders. Just skip the gym.
