It contains a brief educational monologue—likely from a dermatologist—about melanoma risk factors (intermittent sunburns, tanning-bed use), how melanomas can appear (colors, shiny surface, irregular borders), and advice to have suspicious spots removed and address scarring later (e.g., laser resurfacing). The tone is informal and conversational, with references to showing example images and a sign-off.

I was gonna say intermittent sunburns are worse than chronic sun exposure. As counterintuitive as that sounds. Tanning bed use I liken it to getting pregnant. You just need one sperm. You just need to be using a tanning bed once to increase your risk. So if you used it that one time when you were young and dumb and 16. Not that all 16 year olds are dumb, but their frontal lobes are usually not developed, go in and get it checked because you just increase your risk of developing a melanoma. And not everything that looks like a black spot is technically a melanoma. Sometimes they're red, sometimes they're white, sometimes they become shiny, sometimes they start getting irregular borders. Here are a few pictures of melanoma. But yeah, when in doubt, cut it out and worry about the scar later. You can always address that through laser resurfacing and we could talk about that on another pillow talk. Anyway, have a great evening. I'll see you guys later.
