It is the most wonderful time of the year. It's fall. My Christmas tree is up. It's not even Halloween yet, But I kid you not, if you don't believe me, go check out my Instagram grid. But it's the most cozy time of the year. And to top it off, Sephora is having their major sales event starting on October 31st through November 10th. So if you haven't started building out your cart, this is the perfect time to start planning ahead so you can be strategic about what you're buying and what you're spending money on. Rouge members are going to get 21st off, VIB 15 and Insiders 10 off. But regardless of your tier, there is something to save throughout the sale. So if you've never tried a product, it's the perfect time to test something out. And if you have a tried and true that you absolutely love, then go ahead and stock up and even buy some for your loved ones and shower them with love and beauty while saving money in your bank account. So, without further ado, we're going to start, we're going to go through hundreds of products because I have tested this dozens and hundreds of products and I have so many thoughts. And we're going to organize this video by skin care first, followed by hair care and then we're going to end it with makeup. So that being said, starting with skin care, I'm a cosmetic dermatologist and the secret that nobody tells you is that the number one sign of aging and the first sign of aging, it's your dark spots and uneven skin tone. The second your skin tone starts changing, you start looking older and ruddier, not necessarily wiser. But this is where the kicker happens. Dark spots and brown spots is something that you can control through skincare. You can turn it around through the products that you use. And that is why I created the Dr. Idris major fade Purple line. And if you haven't tried it out, then the first one I'm going to tell you to test out is the Dr. Idris major fade Hyper Serum. This powerhouse serum is loaded with heavy hitters like Kojic acid, arbutin, licorice root, niacinamide, di glucosil, Gallic acid. It is a powerful brightening serum that not only brightens, but it also hydrates while giving you an instant glow. It is literally a three in one and it usually retails for $68. If you have tried this and you want to look for something else, the Dr. Idris major fade Active Seal is not your typical moisturizer it is a vitamin C moisturizer with peptides and ceramides and it comes in a gel format so it's not going to be too heavy on your face, but it is going to seal and lock everything in. But if you want this and you want that, then I would suggest you try the Dr. Idris Major Fade Starter Kit for $55 which gives you these two products plus the third step which is the exfoliating step, a three step routine that will take you literally three minutes and you will start to see results within three weeks. It is a perfect gift for a loved one and a stocking sufferer. Or for yourself if you want to travel. Because nobody wants stuff taking up space in their carry on. Because I only like to take a carry on. I hate checking in a bag. So that being said, let me know if you've tried them or if you haven't. If you have questions, leave them below or send me a DM on Instagram. But if redness and sensitivity is your issue and you do have rosacea and you too tend to get oily, then Peter Thomas Roth has his sulfur acne treatment mask for $52. It has 10 sulfur with kaolin and bentonite clays. So this not only is going to help to regulate your oil production, especially within your T zone, it is also going to help to prevent future breakouts. Dr. Jart, however, has a Sika sensitive skin serum with the dynamic duo of Centella Asiatica and Delantoin. This serum retails for $54 and it soothes redness and strengthens your barrier. But if you're looking to not only soothe redness, strengthen your barrier, but also poof. Depuff, the Dr. Idris de Puffer retails for $38 and it's an Arnica serum with Centella Asiatica that comes in a roller. I use this baby every morning around my eyes before I even get out of bed, before I shower, before I use the toilet, before I brush my teeth, and by the time I'm done showering, using the toilet and brushing my teeth, I look like a butterfly and I have absolutely depuffed and I get less red over time. So it does the work for you after you're done rolling. But if acne is your issue and you are constantly breaking out, I would suggest you check out Sophie Pavit's benzoyl peroxide mask which has 5% benzoyl peroxide, which is kin, clay and glycolic acid. It targets breakouts and prevents new ones. But if you want A tried and true then Paula's Choice BHA Toner with Salicylic Acid goes for $35. It's a cult favorite exfoliating toner. It's important when we say toner to know what type of toner we're talking about that is best for oily and acne prone skin. But if we're now looking to help our texture to smoothen our base out, Shawnee Darden has a lactic acid serum that goes for $88. A 9% lactic acid serum with glucanolactone which is a PHA which is better geared towards sensitive skin. It will help to refine texture if you're sensitive and brighten dull skin. But if you're not sensitive then the Dr. Idris Major Fade Flash Mask which just won 2025. Allure's Best of Beauty Exfoliating Mask is a 15 glycolic acid with lactic acid and tranexamic acid. So not only does it exfoliate, it exfoliates making you baby soft smooth while it brightens your skin. And it comes in the form of a mask so you can apply it to spots or to your whole face and larger body surface areas. And if you are on the go and you don't want anything that comes in a gel format or in a liquid format, then Dr. Dennis Gross has the Alpha Beta peel pads, Glycolic, lactic, malic and salicylic acid in a pad that helps to smooth and refine your texture. Great for while you're on the go. It comes in these individual packets so you're not going to have any leaky mess in your carry on. Now if you have textural issues and you are somebody who is exfoliating, you know very well that if you're a child of the 80s or 90s, they used to sell you physical scrubs. But we are now in 2025 and we do not care for physical scrubs. And if you are resonating with that message then the next category of products will be be something that you need. And if you haven't tried them, now is the tried. Now is the tried. Now is the time to try these products that are addressing the aging process aka retinols and peptides. For $72. Ula Henriksen has their Double Rewind pro grade retinol serum which has 0.3% retinol. This is a great one for beginners. If you are looking for something with retinol and peptides, First Aid Beauty has their retinol complex at $48, which might be a nicer place to start for you. And if you are somebody who wants something that is a little bit stronger, then Kiehl's microdose retinol for $65 is a gentle formula, but it is a tried and true for people who use retinol, not necessarily for beginners, but something that you may want to check out. If you are looking instead for products that do not have retinols that confirm and hydrate, then in beauty projects, Extreme Cream has been a hit in the past year for $48. It has 7% lifting peptides plus ceramides that are great for elasticity, especially in the neck area. Duo has their Oracle peptide and antioxidant eye gel. It's a lightweight eye cream so it's not going to be heavy for your under eyes. If you're looking for more hydration, it might not be this one. But if you have a lot of textural issues and you don't want to use any sort of retinol or you're sensitive, I would urge that you check it out. For $44, Clarence has a Divine Smelling Serum. Yes, it has a scent, but I absolutely love the scent of this. It's their double serum with 22 plant extracts and five active molecules. It helps to hydrate your skin and hold on to that hydration and it gives you a beautiful sensorial experience because at the end of the day, skincare is meant to be enjoyed and if you don't have an allergy to fragrance, I'm a dermatologist. Go knock yourself out. Go use it and once it becomes a problem, we'll deal with it then. It goes for 95. But it's a nice gift if you're looking to gift it to somebody. And if instead you just want a peptide cream, Polish Choice has their Pro collagen peptide cream with collagen peptides, which is more important than just pure collagen in a cream. It is lightweight, it has cushiony texture and it retails for $49. Now all of this is great, but all of this is useless if you are not protecting your skin. So what are we going to talk about next? Ding ding, ding, ding, ding. Wear the damn sunscreen. SPF protection and for 38, Dr. Idris's disco block is what I use every single day. As you guys can tell, this is not only going to protect your skin with an SPF of 50, it's also going to help to reverse the look of dark spots because it has an active ingredient known as Hexor Sorceinol, that is going to brighten your skin as well. So you're going to protect and brighten with this sunscreen if instead you just want an SPF 50 that is not also brightening you, because I don't know why you would want that. But if that's what you want. There is a very lightweight skin serum, SPF by Kiehl's known as Better Screen SPF that is also a chemical SPF and that retails for $45. Isden has a mineral SPF, their Aerofetona Actinica SPF 50 that also will protect through a mineral filter and it will help to reverse some of that sun damage that happens in your skin through DNA repair zones. And Iris and Romeo has their SPF 50, which is also a mineral sunscreen with vitamin C and niacinamide. And, and it comes in four tinted shades for a natural finish. And that one retails for $50. So there you've talked about sun protection. It is not lost on me that we are going into fall and winter and a lot of people are not thinking of protecting their skin. But you know what they're about to experience a broken skin barrier and really dry skin. So you want things that are going to help with dryness and barrier repair. And this is not specific to just creams or moisturizers or serums across all categories, starting with a cleanser. The Dr. Idris soft wash is a very gentle cleanser that will hydrate your skin while you wash your face. Plus you can open your eyes when you use it. It usually retails for $30. And for me, I usually just use this cleanser at night and I follow it up with basic water in the morning. If you're looking for something before a serum and you're looking to kind of increase your hydration level, it's the perfect time to stock up on skin. K2's Patera essence. This essence is great to help to increase absorption of hydration, especially to hold on to that hydration in your skin once you load up your serums and your moisturizers. But I start with this first, especially when it is very, very, very dry outside. If you're looking for something thicker that is going to lay over your face like a mask. Kiehl's Squalane mask is the perfect place to start. At 45, it is rich, it is nourishing, and. And if you do not have diaper rash cream, it is great for face basting. If you don't know what I mean by face basting, please google it, check it out and let me know below if you have any questions. And last, we also want to think about our lips. I lick my lips a lot unfortunately and therefore when it's colder outside I get wind burns, I get chapped, I get cracked. Last year that all changed when I introduced the barrier based lip basting duo by Dr. Idris. This is a lip peel so the metallic one is a lip peel that I use at night on my lips. Followed by the lip based which is a rich ointment for your lips that not only seals hydration in but also helps to repair your lip barrier health restoring that hydration throughout the course of the night and the day. So I use this at night and during the day. It is a two step treatment for your lips. It is not the same product products and it helps to deliver smooth hydrated lips throughout winter. Last year was the first year I had no splits or cracks, especially not in my lower lip and it was a game changer for me. Now when it comes to your body we cannot forget our bodies. There are several products. Number one, I don't have it here anymore, I just finished it. But Isden has their urea cream which is great to helping you with any sort of KP or rough skin on your arms or your legs. If you're looking for a luxe experience, why not spend the money now while you can save? Augustinus Vader has their body cream with their Power TFC8 technology for $195. It's a huge splurge but hopefully you can save money with it. But it really does deeply hydrate and firm your skin so if you're creepy it may be worth checking out. Josie Maran though has one at $36 their bites sized Butters Mini Whipped Butter set. It is a beautiful three piece holiday set that has ultra rich Argan oil formulas to help nourish and soften dry skin and last topicals. Faded brightening bundle in unscented is great for your body. It helps to target discoloration on your body and includes a body bar under eye patches and a brightening serum. So there we have it when it comes to to skin care. When it comes to hair, Neutrful has their vegan supplements which have no biotin and these are the ones that I much prefer. I also prefer them because they are much smaller and easier to swallow. Living Proof Scalp Care Exfoliator is that blue bottle behind me in my sink over there? I use it in my sink in my shower. I Use it on my scalp to help get rid of any sort of buildup or debris. And and Living Proof also has and I absolutely do love this one, the triple Bond complex leave in that does really strengthen your hair. I sadly ran out of this and I'm waiting for the sale to stock up on this color. Wow has their Dream coat spray which I absolutely love. When I wash my hair, I use it before I dry it and I use the Dyson dryer, the air wrap dryer to dry my hair. It's the perfect time to put purchase it because you can finally get it on sale. When it comes to makeup guys, I have so many new products because I finally took a makeup lesson last year and I have been exploring this world of makeup, but really there's a lot of stuff. So bear with me. I'm going to try to remember everything that I'm going to show you. But I love YSL's Touche CLA as an under eye concealer. It is absolutely great and easy to use. This one goes for $40. I usually go for the lightest shade. Number two. Maybe number one is the lightest shade, but I'm pretty, pretty pale. Number two, I love MPH Beauty. She sent me this. I did not purchase this, so this was sent to me and I have been using that contour color, as you guys can tell, just on the sides of my face and it does help to give depth to your face. Additionally, the Christian Dior skin tint is a great tint. Skin Perfector is a great tint that I use on the brush to give me a little bit of a color to my face. Because I am extremely pale, I use this so I have a little bit more of a tone. Because my arms are really, really pale, I can look ghostly, so I get a little bit of a tone through this product. Over here. I'm trying to think what else. I also really, really love Huda Beauty as a blush. This is a beautiful blush that you put a tiny bit on your cheek and a little bit goes a hell of a long way. So those are great additions to my makeup routine. Plus my Tried and True Tower 28 Make Waves mascara is a great product. I usually wear it in black, but I did learn a trick recently that if you get it in brown, you can use it on your eyebrows as well. Although I have not yet done that. In terms of newness, I am absolutely obsessed with Hung Van Gogh. I think his new line is brilliant. It really does stick. And his pens and his palettes really last a long time. So I love his passionate purple palette. Clearly, it works with my brand. You've never seen that bottle. That may be something coming to a store near you, but it works so beautifully that it kind of was like a match made in Hung van Gogh and Dr. Idris Heaven. I also really, really, really enjoy the pens that he has. They're great for the eyes and they last all day when it comes to lips. Let's see. I know I'm not done. I have more. I have more. I have Danessa Myricks Color color fix the purple eyeshadow that I have used in several of my videos that you guys have commented on. Additionally, if you don't want purple, the usual brown that I wear is makeup by Mario. This is the master Mattes palette that looks like this. It has lasted me. This is going to probably last me like five years because I put a little bit and a little bit goes a very, very long way as well. And then one trick I do, I did not do it today, and I kind of, I'm jumping back and forth before I apply my mascara, which I told you guys is the Make Waves mascara. I sometimes use a blue mascara underneath it. And this is the YSL Lash Clash in like super bright blue. So I'll put this on first and then I'll do a coat of the black on top so it gives a little bit of blue. It's not too blue, but it looks really cool in real life. So I'll do this first, followed by this second. I've been having a lot of fun, as you guys can tell in the makeup world, because I'm 41 years old and I never knew how to really use makeup up until I was 40 years old. So I had a year to really catch up with all of that. And there you have it. My Sephora sales event top picks from skin care to hair care to makeup. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I didn't want to make it too too long and burdensome for you guys, so I tried to make them quick, upbeat, and snappy. But again, it's the perfect time of year to test out new products and to go ahead and buy products more or less guilt free or as guilt free as can be, but also to save money while doing so and to gift those products to your loved ones. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video. If you haven't yet tried my product line, I cannot wait for you guys to try to try the Dr. Idris major fade line. And let me know what you guys think below or in my DMS or in my emails. You guys can always email the brand to let us know and they always forward me the email. So I do see them as humanly as best as I possibly can. But yeah, excited to see what you guys think and I will see you guys next week. Have a beautiful Saturday and if you haven't yet put up your Christmas tree and you want to, I give you permission to do so before Halloween. You and I will see you in a week. Have a beautiful Saturday and week ahead.
