PRP for your under eyes, let's talk about it. If you have hollow under eyes, PRP might be a really nice option for you, especially if you don't want to get under eye filler or you're not a candidate. So what exactly is PRP? PRP is your own body's natural fertilizer. It's your blood that we spin and separate and get really, really concentrated plasma that is loaded in growth factors and healing properties. PRF is PRP's cousins. PRP works slightly faster. PRF is the extended release version working slower over time, which some people think gives better long-term results. I recently did PRF a few weeks ago underneath my under eyes and even in my lip. There's no filler here. Yes, I bruise, but that's the thing with PRP or PRF— because it's releasing those growth factors, you're going to swell and maybe bruise. It's unpredictable. So this was me at 36 hours, followed by me at like 72 hours. I was clearly swollen for quite a few days, and the bruising never became a full-blown-out bruise, but it did leave some discoloration for 2 weeks. And this is me today at 3 and a half weeks. And I'm showing you these pictures to manage your expectations because not everybody just looks kind of flawless at 48 hours, and it does take time to see results. Plus, the results are subtle, so if you're expecting dramatic impact, it's not for you. Let me know if you guys have any questions below.
