So if you are getting laser treatments for overall redness all over your face and you want to do V beam, but you can only afford one, I would tell you not to do it. If you're a patient in my office, I would tell you, take your money and go buy yourself an experience. Because one treatment is not going to get you where you want to be, and you're going to be pissed that you spent the money. In order to target redness, you have to do it periodically over time, because guess what? Hopefully your heart is beating. And as your heart is beating, that redness and that flushing is going to come back. So you're going to have to do several treatments repetitively in order to reach the desired end result of no flushing. But if you're talking about a V beam for, like, a cherry angioma at the tip of your nose that makes you look like Rudolph that you want to zap into oblivion, then, yes, that is worth it. Because chances are you could probably hit that little tiny red dot and make it disappear with one maximum two treatments, but not the whole face.
