If you have dry, itchy skin, here are three steps to help your skin barrier on your face going into winter. I'm a board certified dermatologist. Let's go. Step one. You're gonna skip washing your face in the morning. But I didn't say you're gonna skip using water in the morning. In the morning, you're gonna use only water to wash your face, and you're not gonna use a cleanser. But at night, you're gonna pick a nice, hydrating, milky cleanser. Something may be loaded with ceramides to help restore your skin's natural barrier. Like this one. Number two, and I cannot emphasize this one enough, it has nothing to do with skin care. Buy a humidifier and keep that baby next to your bed so that when you're sleeping, it is spitting beautiful, humid, watery air onto your face.
