Are you excited to go out and socialize again? Yes, you are. Except when this little asshole decides to rear its little head out. So what can you do to help yourself? One, you can go visit your local board certified dermatologist who may or may not inject it with the tiniest amount of steroids just to help shrivel it up. But this is not a long term solution. So this is just for the worst ones out there when you need to fake it till you make it. Now if you can't go into your derm, this is what you can do to help yourself on those times when you find yourself in a pinch. You can use some ice. Putting ice on your pimple. 10 minutes on, 10 minutes off. I know this sounds dumb, but it will help shrink that inflammation and minimize some of that redness. Number two, you can get yourself some over the counter cortisone. Now this is not something you do all the time. You can apply it to the spot and let it sit on that spot and it will decrease the swelling. Now if it is a really bad juicy baby, you can put a hydrocolloid patch like one of these guys on top of it overnight and you will wake up with smoother, softer, less inflamed skin.
