Definitely quit the retinol a week or so before waxing your eyebrows. Retinols make your skin more sensitive. Waxing is physical. There's not more physical than that. And you're going to potentially rip your skin off and have a superficial erosion. And honestly, that's not that bad because that can heal. The worst is the breakouts that you get from it, which just linger. Like, you get these, like, inflammatory blemishes that just linger. And I may or may not be speaking from experience from, like, 15 years ago when I was still in medical school.
