All right, hi Jenna Rose, so nice to have you here.
Nice to be here.
Yeah, thank you for your time to be here and share about your experience of the Confident Program. So now that you have experienced it, how did the Confident Program help you?
The Confident Program helped me By surfacing— well, really, it gave me direction. That's what I needed. I was at a point in my life where I was feeling really lost. I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do, but I knew I needed to change. So the confidence program gave me the direction I needed to pursue what I wanted. It also really helped me to surface skill sets that I had but was maybe disregarding. So that I could apply those to something new.
Wonderful, wonderful. I love to hear that. So what was your biggest takeaway after you go through all that?
My biggest takeaway was probably just the self-discovery piece. You know, we really took a deep dive on both a professional level because I needed a career change, but also on a very personal level because even though I don't think a lot of us think of it, this way, your work is personal. You spend so much time at your job, so it really needs to adhere to your values. So being able to discover so much about myself and surface my values in a way that they're so clear and I can always draw my career back to them, that was huge for me.
Wonderful. Yeah, I'm so glad that you really connected to the existing skill and talent that you already have, just haven't been used.
Yeah, it was important.
And it was confirmed that those are your skills that you want to use.
Yeah, absolutely.
Wonderful. Okay, great. Um, well, there were 9 modules total in the program. Do you remember which one was your favorite?
I think it was 7, where we had come down to like maybe 3 or 4 career paths I was looking at. And I had to go and do the research. You know, what, what did day-to-day look like? What was required to pursue a career in that direction? What do people in the field have to say about it? Those types of things. And that, that was where I had all, probably the majority of my aha moments.
Mm-hmm.
There was some career paths that I was looking at that I thought I would be a great fit for, but then once I dove into them, I realized I don't want to do that.
Right.
And then I surfaced the, you know, the one that I decided to pursue, and I just had so much fun looking into it, all the different ways that I could use my skills, the creative freedom it would give me, the— just, it aligned to all my values. And that was just, that was just a really eye-opening exercise for me, and I think I really needed it.
Yeah, you did amazing research, and I love how confident you were at the end to say, I think I found the one.
Yeah, yeah, amazing to hear. At that point, there was one that was just sticking out like a sore thumb, like, this is it. I just had that gut instinct.
Wonderful. Wow, great. Well, what do you think this program can help others, and in your opinion, How do you think it can help other people?
I think a lot of people go to a job that they don't like every day thinking that they have, that they have to continue to do so to pay bills or whatever. And, you know, this program has taught me that that's just not true. You can absolutely spend your days doing something that you love. And I think, oh, I think so many people would benefit from going through that program and finding something that's passionate for them, that'll also pay the bills.
Wonderful. And the whole point is that you're gonna do your job, because if you don't like the job, then literally you're doing someone else's job. Like, you're taking a spot that doesn't belong to you, right?
That's absolutely true. Yeah.
So someone else could be really passionate about something that you're currently doing that you feel dreaded about, and there's a mismatch and misalignment, and you have your spot waiting for you where you can shine and be the best you can be. So you can, you know, move over and then leave the spot open for someone else to fill in the proper You know, skill sets and talents that they can contribute with.
Absolutely.
And I'm so glad. I feel like just the way that you are so eager to move forward and pursue your next career path, I can tell that you feel like you found something that's really fitting.
That's exactly how I feel. Yeah, I'm excited about it. I'm having a lot of fun with it. And I'm just really looking forward to the future.
And there's so much potential.
Oh yeah.
And I just can't wait for what's come out of it for you.
You and me both.
Well, thank you so much for your time. I think that would be the question I have. And is there anything else you would like to share with me?
No, that's all I have. I just, I'm so thankful For this journey and, and everything that you've done, done for me. Thank you so much.
You're welcome. It's absolutely my pleasure.
