Kenneth credits the CONFIDENT program's skill and interest assessments with helping him escape the 9-to-5 grind and find work that matches his personality. As an introvert, he says the program helped him tap into his creativity and see problems more deeply, rather than pushing him toward generic roles like typical coaches do.
Hi, Kenneth. Thank you for being here, and thank you for allowing me to ask you for your experience of the Confident Program. Would you mind to share about, like, how did the Confident Program help you?
Oh yeah, one of the things that I liked about it as far as helping me is finding out what I was meant to be through an assessment of my skills And my likes and interests.
Mm-hmm.
And it really gets you away from the typical grind of the 9-to-5 job where everyone is— they feel that they have to do this and they get stuck in it. But you sort of push away from that. Which is something I've never really experienced before.
Interesting.
Like with other coaches, we'll just have you do what, you know, what the culture or, or the typical job is for someone like you. But you may not have an interest in it, or you may not even have the skills or even want the skills. But I like the fact that you search deep down inside the person To see what, what it is they want. And when a person wants something, it's much easier to go after it.
Yes.
Than it is to try and force you, like trying to force a square peg into a round hole.
Yep, yep. Wow. Yeah, I mean, I'm so glad to hear that. And how did they feel for you? How did they feel in terms of finding your place that fits better for you?
Well, for me, being kind of a loner, kind of an introvert, a lot of those are traits of creativity because people think within themselves, they look deeper, see things deeper, they can look at things differently than someone who just looks at it on the surface. And I think For me, it really helped me to dig into that area of creativity.
