Ship Imperfect: Launch Raw, Win Fast

Shipping imperfect. Sounds like I was gonna curse there, but I wasn't. But it's why launching things, like even launching unshakable af, you know, raw and real. I'm dropping the unshakeable AF community soon, probably first week of the new year at this point, because of the holidays and everything. I just wanna. I wanna wait. This is coming out right around Christmas, so it's. I wanna make sure that we. Yeah, I wanna make sure we do this right when there's people around and not everybody on vacation. But, you know, the doors are crack. Is every pixel going to be perfect on it? No. Are my graphics perfectly tweaked on every platform? Probably not. I mean, I hope they are for the most part. I hope, you know, a good job has been accomplished here in what we're doing. But like anything, there's going to be broken parts. But is it packed with real tools to kill, overwhelm and build your momentum? Well, hell yeah. That's the whole point. And sometimes if I've got to get those, those ideas and those tools out to you dirty, I'm going to absolutely do that instead of hesitating until it's perfect. Because if I'm waiting for perfect, that's just me being afraid in disguise. It's what I say all the time, right? You slow down and you wait for perfection because you're afraid of what you've already built. I'd rather ship it raw and let people start winning now and get some advantage from this and help themselves from it. And, you know, I could polish it in silence down the road. I could update graphics here and there as needed. I could change the formatting of text in a PDF as needed. But at least I'm getting the words out now and I'm getting the content and the mindset out now. Your authentic 70% absolutely murders AI's fake 100% every time. Hell, your authentic 10% does. You know, people connect to the human mess, not the robot polish. It's about you. It's about launching your imperfect look. It's a prog mass, right? Prog mess. We all heard that phrase. Prog mess is pro messy progress. You know, you're still making progress, but you're a little bit rough around the edges and you don't care because you're still getting it out. That's what prog mess is all about. So the riff of the day is that being done beats being perfect. Ship it, tweak it live and just watch the crowd go nuts. Let your audience, let your people get ahold of something now instead of having to wait six months for what may be. And I know what you're saying. You're saying, well, Steve, if you're saying that right now, why the hell aren't you watching your episode today? And that is absolutely fair. The reality is, I put it out before I had everything finished. And while it may be a mess, I don't think anybody would be able to decipher my onenote files with all the stuff that I've written in there and drawn and connected. There is so much mind hive insanity that I need to actually decipher and translate from my brain into English of what people would even be able to grab and understand. That's the only reason why the unshakeable community's not up, because the rest of the forums and stuff in there are all done and ready to go. But I just didn't want to invite people in with an empty community and just to podcast. I felt like if I didn't have the first course built already there for free for everybody to enjoy, well, then why am I even inviting you to a community? I'm already grateful enough that you're listening. So to then bring you to a second step. To be in a community that doesn't have a payoff yet felt unfair. And that's why I'm waiting. And with the holidays, I know I'm being pulled a million places. We've got concerts with the kid all the time for her music stuff happening. So there's so many different ways I'm being pulled that, yeah, it's just the timing isn't right. So it's going to be like the first week of the year, and it's going to kick ass when. When it comes out. So remember today your win. What's the one thing you've been stalling on? A post, maybe an offer, maybe some outreach. Launch that rough version today and let some momentum start. So even if you've got an email that you've been waiting to send to somebody, hell, maybe it's that email from yesterday's episode of firing clients. And the next day happened, and now here's the next day and you're listening to me and going, oh, shit, Steve, I did not send that email yesterday. It's in my draft box right now. Go grab it and send it. Start taking more control. So, yeah, we're all gonna go live raw at some point because that's how real growth is gonna happen. So if you want to, you can actually go jump on a wait list right now. I don't promote a lot in these podcasts, but here's one where I will I've got a book coming out in the first quarter of next year called Plan Execute and Rock. It's actually the marketing guidelines of my 20 plus years of marketing distilled down into a kind of very friendly rock the stage attitude way of looking at your business objectively, making sure you have all the building blocks in place, and then starting to tackle the ones that you don't. So you can really give yourself a great marketing strategy with or without help of marketing people in your world, where at least from the brass tacks of what you are as a business, you can at least now have a plan that you can use and bring to other people to get the help that you need. It's. It's called Plan Execute and Rock and it's available at stevelichtman.com book you could jump on the waitlist and when you do jump on the waitlist, it will automatically send you a checklist so you can get started, called the Ground Floor Marketing Checklist. And you can use that to get started with all these things while the book is coming out and while the community gets online. It'll give you a jump start just so you could start thinking about these things and then you'll be able to dig into deeper in the first quarter. Thanks everybody. It's Steve. Unshakable. Well, unfiltered and unshakable. Look at that, I got my own name backwards. It's. I've only said it 25 times. You're right at the end. You would think my brain would have it by now, but no. The brain is always moving forward. And I hope you're always moving forward too. Have an amazing day.
