In this interview, the host and guest discuss the power of thoughts and intentional programming of the mind, likening it to a GPS system that guides you toward your goals. The guest, author of Success Habits of Millionaires and Billionaires, outlines a daily routine common among high achievers: waking at 6 AM, exercising, writing and refining goals, and planning the day, which enables them to start productive work by 8 AM. The conversation emphasizes the 80/20 rule, the universality of these habits across cultures—evidenced by the guest’s speaking engagements in 84 countries—and the rapid acceleration of personal success when these practices are applied, even for individuals from modest backgrounds.
Let's talk a little bit about well-being. Do you truly believe that we become what we think about most of the time?
Yes, of course, because again, it's like programming, setting in a goal for your GPS system in your car. You say, I want to go to this address. Okay, put it in, and then that, your GPS system will take you and guide you directly to the address that you want to go. Or you can put in a phone number, it will direct you, it will call the exact right phone number and take you straight there. It's the most amazing thing. What is available today was not available a few years ago. But today, there are so many more ways to achieve your goals that never existed before. And so it's really silly for you to be surrounded by all these incredible opportunities for success and then not to use them. Uh, I'll give you a simple example. I have studied at great length, I wrote a book on it called Success Habits of Millionaires and Billionaires and How You Can Develop Them Yourself. And one of the things I found is that millionaires and billionaires arise by 6:00 AM each morning. And the first thing they do is they exercise, just exercise to get started. Then they write down their goals. They think through their goals and each day their goals will change a little bit. Yes. And then they plan their day and then they get started. So by about 8:00 in the morning, successful people have already woken up, exercised, written down their goals, and begun work.
And have absolute clarity of what, what their priorities are.
Yes, and so they start attracting into their life opportunities and people to achieve their goals. And again, it comes back to the 80/20 rule. And these things happen to everybody all over the world. And I have now spoken in 84 countries, 84 countries. And everyone who does these things all over the world in every continent gets the same results.
Yes.
And they're amazed, they're just amazed. They come from poor families, they come from poor families in India, in India or Central America or South America, and they're just astonished at how much success they enjoy. And how fast. It's almost like stepping on the accelerator of your life. True. Going faster and faster.
I've seen it too, by following your guidance and my husband. We started achieving in 1 year what would have taken us 7. Yes. Maybe.
