Tim Hubbard introduces Airbnb's change to its commission model: Airbnb will pass a 15.5% commission to hosts and remove guest service fees. He warns that hosts cannot simply add 15.5% to their rates to compensate, and says the correct adjustment depends on whether a property management system (PMS) is used; the video will break down the details.

You've probably heard that Airbnb is passing a 15.5% commission over to the host, and they're no longer going to be charging guests any service fee similar to a hotel. What you probably don't know is that you can't just simply mark up your prices 15.5% to account for this difference. The math is different, and it depends whether you're using a PMS or not. Stay tuned. We'll break down all the details.
