What are the best flooring options for your short term rental? I want to give you my top three having invested in lots of real estate over the last 10 years and adding lots of new flooring. Number one hardwood floors. Of course not all properties have this, but if they do, that's great. Why? Because we can resurface the floors. We can restain them, change the color which is going to change the feel and the environment of our short term rental and they can last a lifetime. Have properties with hardwood floors that are over 100 years old. Number two tile. I love tile. Super durable but it's not the warmest feeling option for rental and it can be expensive to install. Depends on the price of your tile. Number three is going to be vinyl plank. This is a very affordable option. There's tons and tons of different makes and colors. You can have a glue down option which can go over your existing floor. It's probably going to be the quickest. That's it for now.
