In this tutorial, Takis Athanassiou walks beginners through the complete process of launching a WordPress site without needing technical expertise. He begins by explaining the prerequisite resources (domain name and hosting account) and then demonstrates how to use the hosting provider’s cPanel interface to access the Softaculous auto‑installer. He selects WordPress, configures the installation (version, protocol, directory, site name, description, admin username/password/email, language, optional plugins/themes), and launches the installer. After the installation finishes, he shows how to log into the new WordPress admin dashboard, navigate the interface, install themes and plugins, and perform basic site administration. Finally, he creates and publishes his first blog post, showing the editor, publishing workflow, and how to view the live post. The video concludes with a quick recap, emphasizing the ease and speed of the process.

Hello, this is Takis Athanassiou from takisathanassiou.com. Welcome to my new tutorial on how to develop your WordPress site. As you would probably know, WordPress is one of the most popular choices on developing a blog and an online business. Today we're gonna demonstrate how easily it is to set up a WordPress site and make it run in no time at all and without technical expertise. What we're going to do today is, uh, to use the cPanel, which is a popular frontend given by many hosting providers on developing and managing the resources in your host. And how to use it in order to set up our WordPress. What we need to do is first to collect our resources, which is something we discuss later on. Second, to set up an account in your host, which is something most people probably have. Third step is to install the WordPress. 4th is to load your WordPress site. 5th, to log in your new blog. And 6th and 7th is to write a new post and having some administration tasks on the site. So let's get started. This is my site, but today I'm gonna use for the tutorial a different site at all. This is cPanel, which is a user interface provided by my hosting provider to manage the resources in my hosting installation. My hosting installation, the stack is now gone, which means that I already own a name and a domain. And what I need now to do is to have a different installation. I have some error, but it's okay. As you see, this is just a blog. What I need to do is to search Cipalme. I find this one application. This application is Softaculous Application Installer, which is an excellent auto installer for many applications in the hosting providers. Once I enter Softaculous, I select the blocks and I Select WordPress. What I'm going to do now is to develop a new WordPress installation since I have already one and I develop it in a different directory. So the steps I have to take, it's very simple, just install now and make some selections. I have to select which version of WordPress I have to install, what is the protocol I'm going to use for my domain, which is the directory I'm going to install my WordPress, the site name, the site description. My admin username and password, which I left it as it is. My admin email. Language. What else I need to install as plugins for Salesforce. And if I want to add some themes, but I don't want for now. So, from now on, I'm ready to start the WordPress. I press the task running, and as soon as I would have a new WordPress installation in the WordPress directory that I have specified. As you see now, I have a new WordPress installation. This is it. So we have finished with step number 1, number 2, number 3. Now I need to load to our new WordPress site in order to see which is having that before blog. As you can see, let's log into our new blogs to see what's happening. So TechPlus provides the interface to Power Admin, which if you do correctly, others directly to my new blog interface. So everything's working okay. I do some search, I can add things to my themes, to install new plugins, to change what's there. And internal to manage my new WordPress installation. Now is the time to write my first post. I have the usual hello world, but I need something new. So what I do. Is red quick warm? Let's say I do some specifics. Thank you. Yes. I don't just publish it. My first don't. So have already logged in. We have already write first, then we have publish. Let's see it if everything goes well. Okay, we're gonna see our new look here. Yep, it is here. So if it is in Dutch now, is to select these 2 directories provided by Softaculous and make it a shortcut in order to have an easy administration, of course, to save up your passwords. Okay, let's sum up our WordPress installation, and you see how easily it was done. Thank you for being here. I hope I see you next time. Bye-bye for now.
