Tanner Lee performs "Seeing Her" at 2012 EcoArtFest, layering multiple vocal parts to create a fragmented, poetic meditation on longing and memory. The song weaves sensory impressions: feeling someone's presence in darkness, hearing her words swirl, recalling her laugh. Overlapping voices emphasize themes of desire and the elusive nature of connection.

Her.
When the lights are off I can
feel her in my room I feel
her touch when I turn in my
bed I hear her words swirl around in my head.
I think of her laugh? Night's been laughing so much it hurt? Walk by the water and Johnny Mathis fills my ears? Locked up memories that I keep for years?
I know that you think you know the world? The way she cuts you with her eyes? The way she lives the way she
lies the way she leaves in the
way she cries oh, baby, the way she cry? Oh, oh, no, no, no, no? I know that you think you know.
In now show me that you do?
Oh, no one in the world
know
that girl
the way I do. Way I do. Way I do?
We can do.
