A man describes three life-changing goals his family achieved with help from Equis: taking a long-delayed vacation, buying a home after years of instability, and affording medical treatment for his quadriplegic daughter. He now wants to help others reach their own goals.
There are three whys that I had I personally felt like I wanted to accomplish, and everyone has to have a why. My first why was to take our family on a family vacation because we had not been on a family vacation because things had been so tight financially that we could not even afford to take our kids on a vacation. The second wife was, after losing our home, that we would be able to get a home again and help provide that security that our children needed and that our family needed. The third why was for our daughter. She got sick, and oftentimes I felt like the reason that she ended up the way she did is because we couldn't get her the help that she needed, and she ended up in a wheelchair. Being a quadriplegic and equa provided the opportunity to be able to get her treatment that she needed. So it's kind of surreal, and I'm still kind of waking up to it to realize that just two days ago, all three wives were met. We just closed on our home, and we sit here today with boxes around us, almost a surreal feeling, a miracle that Equis has provided this opportunity for us. And all three wives are met. So now my why is Equus has changed our lives. We are not where we were just four years ago. I never dreamed of being where we are. And now we want to help other people change their lives the way Equis has changed ours.
