Yeah.
So, Laurie, I have a stack of leads right here. I print all of them out.
Oh, I do too. Yep.
I, I, I print them out. I take them everywhere I go, so when I have a spare moment, I can dial them. So as far as, what does my desk look like? I have a stack of leads and have my tracker next to me. Like my activity tracker next to me. Right. I have my book sitting over so I can always read 15 or 20 minutes. When I get no shows, I can get my mind right again. Okay. And then I just have my leads stacked up as I dial them. I lay them down. Well, here, give me one second, I'll show you. I just pull them from, I lay them down like this so I can see the last four numbers and I lay them down like that all day long. So I actually have my desk right here in front of me and I have a table to the side that lay on my desk, all my leads on while I call. Because I used to put them all on my desk and it was cluttering all my desk up and I couldn't function. And then honestly, I have my green smoothie sitting over here to the side of me so I can drink that like, like during the day, right. So I have that and then I have my phone and that's it.
Okay, and how do you get your mind right?
Well, my mind, my mind getting my mind right starts off in the morning, right. So when I actually go out to the gym, Lori, I spend 20 minutes doing a podcast. Also, at towards the end of the my workout, I'll do 20 minutes doing a podcast just to kind of get my head right. Then I'll get ready, then I'll come up to the office, and then I'll take 10 to 15 minutes and read a book to get my mind right to start dialing. Okay, so example, I was up here at 7:45 this morning, read for 15 minutes and then started dialing.
You got your mind right. You got your desk set up. Okay, so let's role play a phone call with me how you would typically do a phone call.
Ring, ring. Hello? Hi, is this Lori?
Yes, it is.
Hi, Laurie, My name is Tanya Hughes. I'm calling in regards to the mortgage protection on your loan with rocket mortgage for 150,000. I'm married.
You're married. Okay, perfect. Me too. Do you mind me asking your husband's name?
Bill.
His bill. Okay, perfect. So I'm the underwriter been assigned to get you and Bill this information. Like I said, we can do everything over the phone. Brief phone call. I do work when you don't work. When are you and Bill typically available? Is morning, afternoon or evening typically best for you? It takes about 15, 20 minutes.
Typically we're home about 7:30 and available about 7:30.
I want to make sure that you guys have some time to eat. I could do between 8 and 8:30. Does that work for you guys?
Yeah, 8 and 8:30 will work.
Okay. Is there anything you can think of that you might have going on around 8 or 8:30? Any kids, sports, anything like that? With the holidays coming up, I know a lot of people are busy that you can think of that you wouldn't be available between 8 and 8:30?
No, I don't think so. We're usually home.
Okay, perfect. Lori, do you have a pin so I can give you my information?
