This clip is a sales-coaching monologue (YouTube transcript) advising agents how to sell life insurance to younger people who say "I'm not going to die anytime soon." It emphasizes focusing on living benefits (income protection if illness reduces earnings), targeting single parents (especially single moms) by creating urgency around lost income and mortgage protection, and offering cash-value universal life policies framed as a savings-with-protection option that can be cashed out or kept as lifelong coverage.

Another objection that you will rarely get, but you will get, especially with young people, is, I'm not going to die anytime soon. I'm not worried about these. So these can be kind of difficult, especially if they have no one to leave anything to. If there's really no one that they're taking care of, it's. It's kind of hard sometimes. However, if you're talking to a single person, like a single mom or a single parent, you really can focus on creating the value in the living benefits, even if they are young. Let's say you have a single mom with a few children and she provides for them all by herself. If all of a sudden she gets sick, she's not relying on anyone else to bring in that income. So you ask that question, if all of a sudden your income goes away, what does your life look like? You want to create the pain, you got to help her. See, even though they're young, that something can happen, right? Something is better than nothing. We need to figure out what makes sense for her as a single mom, right? If all of a sudden she gets sick and her income gets cut by 40 to 60% at her work, right? Because she gets a short term and long term disability at her work, she's going to be in trouble. So we need to help her find that bridge. The mortgage protection is the bridge. You find value. Now, another way to find value with younger people is also it's kind of like a savings account with protection, right? The chance of something happening are really slim. So for younger people, we like to put something in place that has a return, like a Universal Life Mutual Omaha Index, Universal Life Express or Forrester Smartul because it builds cash value. So you want to present it to them as, it's like a savings account that protects you. If you don't need it 15, 20 years down the road, you can cash out, get your money back, right? So I put that return a premium option for single people. And people are 20s and 30s, they really like that option because it gives them the option of one, they can cash it out, get their money back, or two, it becomes a life insurance for the rest of their life. Your value with single people though is really focus on those living benefits if they're young and single, okay? Keep it simple, help them find the pain and I promise you, you'll make a sale.
