You probably tell them that they should be doing more visionary things, more CEO things, and you'd be absolutely right. But let me ask you this question. Who's doing your books? I talk to a lot of fractional CFOs, and I find out that they're doing their own books. And so let me repose the question to you. Is that the right thing for you to be working on in your firm, or should you be working on CEO stuff? Those things that are going to move your firm forward, those things that are going to increase revenues, efficiencies, grow your team, help you achieve your goals? I think you know the answer. So my challenge to you today is go hire a bookkeeper, focus on growing your firm.
