One of the things that I think is important to remember about going to networking events is you have to, like, network or they don't pay off. What's your approach when you walk into a given event on what you're going to do and how do you navigate the conversations?
I mean, even as an extrovert, it is still so uncomfortable. Like, it's never going to not feel that way. So you just have to get over yourself. Everybody else is there to do it as well. And so when you go in with the mindset of this was a complete waste of time. If I don't start talking to somebody, it feels uncomfortable, I think, when you're accountable to not just yourself in that too. Thankfully, I've got a great business partner in Cameron, and I would feel so silly if I took time out of my day to go to the chamber event. And I just got uncomfortable. I didn't talk to anybody. And I went back when he asked, hey, how did it go? And I'm well, I kind of shied out, and the food was good, but, like, I kind of got nervous. And we'll see next time, like, there's only so many times before it's going to be like, all right, what's going on?
