I like to encourage people get on a sales call, even if you know it's a dud, just to get the reps, does that line up with what you've seen experientially?
Carol, Honestly, if you look at every sales call that you go into as practice, we expect to fail in practice. And so the fear of failure gets diminished a bit when we look at it from the perspective of like, you know, everything's online. I need to get this right. If I don't get this right, I'm not going to get the next client in. That's the kind of thinking that will undermine you in this actual conversation. And so a lot of times what I'm trying to get my clients to do is to just have fun with it. And you know, one of the ways ways that you can have fun with this and you can practice this is practice on everybody around you. Practice just asking open ended sequential questions and doing active listening techniques where you're not listening to answer, you're just listening to understand and think about where is this coming from for this person. And questions will start to naturally come to you.
