Hello, I am Edward Conlon Cadden MacLean. You may refer to me as Edward or Edward MacLean. My father, Richard Edward MacLean, studied at Columbia in his undergrad and was particularly fond of Thomas Berry, who later married him to my sister's mother, Julie Troy. Later in life, my father had me with my mother Maureen Cadden. At this point in my life, I have started reading the Bible and the Gnostics, which I believe my father consulted Thomas Berry about. Through my exploration, I have discovered a sign language I call the Lord's Sign Language. L-S-L-H-E-L-L-O, hello. H-O-W, how. A-R-E-R-Y-O-U, are. You. With this language, I can communicate with my body and my soul. I believe that Thomas Berry set my father on the path to bring me to life so I could discover this language. I also believe that I was meant to discover him, to connect with people who knew his work well, because I believe his work and my work were fated. I would enjoy learning more about you and your husband and what you do at Yale. I am in Brookfield, Connecticut, 45 minutes away, uh, and actually my father went through his cancer treatment in Yale, so I am very familiar with the city. Um, if we could email back and forth, I would really appreciate it. Thank you for your time, and God bless your soul.
