Tim Arrigo asks what you want said at your funeral, then whether you're living that way now. He argues most people are closer to their ideal self than they think, and small shifts away from seeking external validation can realign you with your actual values: courage, integrity, compassion, honesty, love.

If you were to die today, what would you want to be said at your funeral? What is the legacy statement that you want to be said about you? And are you living in alignment with that legacy? See, the legacy of our true selves, the alignment that we can create by remembering what truly matters in this life— because you can't put a U-Haul behind a hearse. And anytime you ever go to a funeral, I know you can relate to this, you never hear anybody talk about the man's wealth. You always hear them talk about what he did in the world, the impact that he made, and ultimately how he made people feel, the things that he stood by, the things that he valued, the way he operated, and the heart that he had. So my brother, today on this day If you're to truly self-reflect, truly look inward and ask yourself, am I living in alignment with the eulogy that I want to be said about me? Because that's the most authentic version of you. It's the version of you that's beyond what you can provide. It's beyond the material gain. It's the version of you that stands with core values. It's the version of you that aligns with this higher purpose. It's the version of you that is authentic, that operates and moves inside his truth and confidence. When we operate with valor, courage, integrity, strength, compassion, truth, honesty, and love. And guess what? You're not that far off. You're so much closer than you think. Sometimes we think we're so distant from the man we want to be. We think we're so distant from a breakthrough when in reality we are so close. And with a few minor tweaks, with a few adjustments, we can modify our behavior to step back into alignment with the man that we ultimately want to become. So today, brother, when you think about that man, when you think about your legacy, know that you're in control of whether or not that testimony gets spoken about you, but only if you let go of trying to prove yourself and being hung up in the external, and you get back into alignment with the man that you ultimately know that you are and want to become.
