Work addiction gets dressed up as success while it keeps you trapped in a cage of your own making. The speaker maps three ways out: keep decorating it, quietly manage it, or face the trauma head-on and use it to lead others through theirs.

The work addiction, one addiction you can have, or everybody calls you a success, but I just decorated the cage. I call it strength, I call it discipline, but I'm dissociating with style. I never lead from it, I manage it in silence. And this is the man who looks whole, but he still flinches on the inside. See, when you repeat it, the trauma loop stays intact. There's no interruption, there's no integration, there's no process. And then path 3 is that I invert it. I face it and I flip it. I don't erase it, I reassign it. I don't run from it, I reign from it. I don't hide it, I lead with it. See, this is the man who stands in the same fire that once burned him alive, and now he uses that fire that burned him as a way to forge other people.
