Tim Arrigo argues that real change means facing your past trauma, failures, and addictions head-on instead of running from them. He invokes Jesus' descent to show what true transformation looks like, then invites listeners to join the Total Breakthrough Academy for guided help.

You can't just move on from your past. You can't outrun it. You can't bury it. You can't pretend that it never happened. Real transformation doesn't work that way. And if you want to be free, you have to do what most men aren't willing to do. You have to descend first. See, when Jesus died, he didn't go straight to the throne of heaven. He went to the depths. He confronted hell itself. He took the keys, and then he rose to victory. Says that in Revelation 1:18. And see, that's the model for our transformation. Lots of guys, they avoid their darkness. They pretend like it doesn't exist. Some guys get consumed by it. They think it's just who they are. But both paths lead to self-destruction. There is a third way, though, and that third way leads to true freedom. It's when we go in, when we face the worst parts of ourselves to come back stronger. Not as a victim, not as a prisoner, but as a warrior who has conquered what once held him captive. So here's what I want you to know, brother. The depths are not your identity. Your failures, your addictions, your trauma, they're not who you are, man. But see, you're never gonna rise if you refuse to face what's been keeping you down. That descent into darkness is necessary. It's not the end. See, you don't stay in your past when you do that. You don't become the darkness. You take back the keys to your own life. You rise, not as the same man, but as a guy who's actually faced hell and walked out stronger. Most guys never do this work. They either just keep running or they keep sinking. But you, you have a choice. Are you ready to face what's been holding you back? If you are, brother, contact us about the Total Breakthrough Academy. Because we help guys every day take back their lives and face the darkness they've been avoiding.
