My brother, it's time for you to stop giving away your power. See, your power resides in things that you give attention and a response to. See, when you no longer give dysfunction a response, it no longer has power in your life. When you no longer pay attention to things that are counterproductive to your growth, to your progress, to your personal development journey, then those things no longer have power in your life. A lion doesn't need to prove that he's a lion. And see, giving away your power puts you in this powerless state, the state where your emotional life, your mental health, the state of your physiology, your chemistry is being controlled by things outside of you. Outside of you. And so what happens is the location of control for things in your life isn't in— inside, isn't within. It's outside of you. It's not intrinsic, it's extrinsic. Stop giving away your power to people, to places, to things, because you can never control the external. Trying to control things that you can't control leaves you out of control. You can only control how you think, how you feel, and how you respond, how you act, the words you say, and the focus and the attention that you give to things. Because when you no longer give something attention, when you no longer give it focus, when you no longer give it a response, it no longer has power in your life.
