A man who's not fully operating in his masculine form always creates an insecure wife who becomes avoidant and ultimately feels insecure in his presence. Look, bro, if you don't start to operate in your true confidence, you're gonna drive your wife away. You have to let your confidence shine through. You can't keep allowing your self-doubt, your fear of failure, your indecisiveness to prevent you from taking action in your life. And every day that you wake up with this spirit of inadequacy, like you're not good enough and you're not taking action, you can sit around and point fingers and be resentful at the fact that other people are mad at you and contemptuous, resentful, maybe not respecting you. But the biggest problem is that you're not loving yourself, you're not respecting yourself, you're not doing the things that you know you need to do. And so your anxiety creates this neediness, this desperation, these insecurities that— right, you start second-guessing, what is my wife doing, right? Is she pursuing somebody else? Is— what is she doing? And all of that insecurity comes out, and it's like a repellent to your wife. It makes her just not attracted to you. And this isn't the guy that you always were. Like, you were a guy that you had your edge, you had your confidence, like you were pursuing a purpose. And now it seems like you're really not pursuing much of anything. And ultimately, not because you're a bad guy, not because you're good enough, not because you're not doing what you need to be doing, but ultimately because you've forgotten who you are. You've forgotten the things that make you feel most like yourself. You've forgotten the things that really make you feel fulfilled inside your life. You're not chasing down your dreams, man. And see, when your wife feels this, she knows this. She knows you better than anybody, man. You know this. And she's upset. She's upset because ultimately she wants you to solve the problem. She wants you to figure it out. She doesn't want to have to give you the answers. Like she's supposed to be responsible for telling you that. Look, man, people in your life love you. If they didn't, they wouldn't be here. They wouldn't be in your life. They would have left you a long time ago. But you got to start to operate in your confidence again, man. You got to get your edge back. You got to start to take action. You got to have discipline. Like, you got to be unwavering and relentless in what you want again, because that insecurity, it creeps up inside your marriage. You start second-guessing everything your wife is doing. You start micromanaging, overanalyzing. And looking way too deeply into everything she's doing and why she's doing it and how she's doing it. And ultimately what you want is you want some type of reassurance. You want some type of validation from her to try to establish security in the relationship. Why? Because ultimately you feel insecure. But that relationship with your wife can never make you feel secure if you are not doing what you need to do to feel secure within you. So bro, I wanna encourage you right now. What are you not doing? Knowing and not doing is not knowing. A lot of times we know what to do, but we just don't do it. The problem is not that we always don't know what to do. We say, well, what should I do? I don't know. I don't know. I'm gonna stop using soft language like that. We do know what to do. The problem is that we just don't do it sometimes. We need people in our life to encourage us to take action on the things that we need to do to move the needle and to get out of a place of insecurity. So maybe that's me right now. I wanna remind you right now that you still got more in the tank. It's not over for you. Your heart's still beating. And if you're not dead, God's not done. So get to work.
