So here you are, still sitting on the fence. I got to talk to my wife. I got to run it by my wife. I got to ask my wife. And see, you don't know how to take decisive action because this type of decision to change your life doesn't need your wife's validation. Sometimes, brother, you need to be the leader that makes choices even when your wife doesn't agree with them because knowing later on that she'll thank you for it because you knew what to do, because you weren't afraid to be the first one to respond. And so here you are sitting on the fence, using your wife as a shield and a scapegoat to justify and rationalize why you shouldn't take action. Nobody wins and everybody loses if you don't take action. How is this not clear to you? And see, I get it though, because it wasn't clear to me either. I basically my whole life waited for everything on the external to change before I changed, waiting for circumstances, people, places, and things, everything on the outside to change before I change. And here's the sad part about that: you can't control any of that. And it's going to be a cold day in hell when everything externally lines up and you just magically feel good about making the decision. Your procrastination is killing you. It's killing your marriage. And there is sand slowly dwindling in an hourglass all the way down to almost its last grain, and your marriage is literally hanging on by a thread. Your mental health is hanging on by by a thread, your sanity. And you're still waiting. You're still waiting for your wife to change, assuming that your wife is just going to somehow wake up one day and know the solution. Brother, you're the one who should be leading with that solution and implementing it in that home. And guess what? If it doesn't work out from that point, at least you have closure and you have a clear conscience. How can you even go to bed at night with a guilty conscience that you have? Well, let me guess, you don't. That's why you're up all night tossing and turning with anxiety that's crippling you. Your anxiety is caused by indecision, and your indecision is caused by procrastination, and your procrastination is caused by hesitation and fear. Stop avoiding the work that you need to do. All this work, it gives you everything that you're looking for. And here's the powerful, most beautiful part about it, bro. You're only in control of one thing. And that's you. So why are you not taking back your control?
