You can't remain in purgatory forever. See, amidst this separation season, you're in this waiting game and you're falling into a place where you have to disconnect from yourself, actually dissociate from everything that's going on with you. And you're waiting in purgatory, hoping, praying, wishing, wanting for things to change, not recognizing that you are the catalyst for that change. We can sit around and wait for amazing things to happen, but it's highly unlikely unless we take action. It's highly unlikely unless we move. Life is movement. We have to learn to trust in movement, trust in the momentum that is being created through our daily actions, which starts right here inside your mind. What do you need to do that you're putting off? We can't continue to procrastinate. We can't continue to put these things off for tomorrow and just play the waiting game of, sure, I'll wait for my wife to come back, or I'll wait to see if she wants to stay married, and I'll stay separated for years on end, minimizing my needs, putting my life on hold, sacrificing my happiness. See, ultimately, my brother, if you don't have somebody who's on board with you, who wants to move forward with you in your life, then sometimes you have to know the hardest decision you'll ever make is to choose between purgatory or personal personal growth. Which one is it going to be? Because times in my life that I was waiting for people to change and focusing on their brokenness and thinking that I gotta fix them, and if I just did this and that, then I'd be able to get them to behave and act in certain ways, was all just me being a master manipulator. It wasn't me loving that person. So you can love people and still not be with them. Let me tell you right now, love is a terrible price to pay for loneliness. Sometimes in our life, we wait in the state of purgatory, not recognizing that we can lead with influence. And most often, we can become an inspiration in people's lives when we set a new standard. And my brother, God is calling you to a new standard. Yes, you need to pray like everything depends on God. Yes, but you need to work like everything depends on you. So my brother, Let's get to work.
