A man named Tim blames his wife for their relationship problems, but the speaker argues that waiting for her to change is cowardice. But Tim, what about my wife? You know, it takes two people to be in a relationship, and my wife, she's still exhibiting all these behaviors. You're still doing it, bro. You're still blaming your wife, and you're using your wife's behavior as a scapegoat to rationalize and justify why you need to change, and you keep minimizing your part. Why do you need— why do you need your wife to change before you change? So you're waiting and you're putting the responsibility of you getting better and changing your behavior in the hands of somebody else. It's like, okay, if they admit that they have a problem and they're going to work on themselves, well then I'll work on myself. What? Only cowards do that. You don't need the green light to be a better version of yourself. Stop making excuses because no one's believing you. You're living in the gray area of your life and you're sitting around making excuses about why you're— why you shouldn't change, and you're putting that on your wife. Don't you— that, that just to me is transparent. It shows me that you're not confident in your ability to lead, your ability to be the example, be the change that you want to see. Putting that responsibility in somebody else's hands, let alone the fact that it's your wife. Don't you realize that if you made it the way it is right now, that your leadership is what's gonna alter the dynamic, what's gonna change it? How does that not— how can you not comprehend that? Why? Because you refuse to look at the fact that you created it. You have no ownership, just a straight blaming victim. And I know because I was that guy, so I have a right to speak on that. And you can sit back and watch this video and go, well, that guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Why you're the one who's living at a subpar level, why you're the one who's choosing not to give yourself your best, why you're the one who's blaming everybody around you for why you're miserable. And I know because I've been there, so I have the right to speak on that. And all the men that I've worked with in my program privately for over the last 10+ years can vouch for that as well. They used to point the finger, they used to blame everybody, they used to make everybody the scapegoat and the reason why they couldn't change and why things were stuck the way that they were forever until they looked in the mirror one day, got honest with themselves, and got real and raw about the fact that they needed to change it because they created it. But yeah, let's keep blaming your wife because that's really helping you.
