How do you not see this? You get up and you go about your day And you think that you have more time. You think that you have more time to procrastinate solving these problems in your marriage. And the worst part about it, the worst part about it is that 9 times out of 10, your wife has to bring it to your attention first before you do as a leader to take action as the man that you were called to be. Other things in your life become a bigger higher priority than the person that you get to spend the rest of your life with? How do you not see your wife's mood and your wife's emotional state as a vital asset to your success? You're unintentionally sabotaging your life by putting off these problems. And here it is. This is what mainly most men do in this situation. They make their wife the scapegoat for their lack of leadership and the skills that they have yet to develop because they're successful in one area of life and they use their success in that one area of life to rationalize, justify, and minimize what they do inside their marriage. If you're a success in business and your marriage is failing, you're not a success. If you're a success in business and your kids are struggling and they have to witness you and your wife arguing, you're not a success. So you take on this attitude of, oh, this is just the way that women are. Oh, you know, and then you throw in the comedy and you start to make blanket statements about women, even though you know your wife is different. You know your wife is different. You and I both know she's different. You wouldn't have married her if that wasn't the case. And see, you hide from this truth. You hide from this truth because it's painful, because you don't know how to solve it. You're the guy that everybody comes to for answers to problems, yet you don't have the answer to the biggest problem in your life. And there's nothing mature about you sweeping this under the rug, being avoidant with this problem, and going through your life These problems can be solved, but you need to have the right tools and the right people in your life. Why are you putting this off? Why are you procrastinating these problems? Because guess what? Even if you are the type of person where you're not wanting to take ownership and wanting to look at yourself and how your wife's unhappiness is affecting you and your marriage. Look at your, look at your children. Look at your kids. Why should your kids have to suffer? Because guess what? Guess who's around your children all day? So why should your kids have to suffer for the work that you intentionally continue to put off and the problems in your marriage that you need to solve when they had nothing to do with it.
