My brother, you gotta stop ruminating in this guilt. It's gone on long enough. And I want to explain something to you about this guilt. The reason that you hold on to so much guilt is because you can't see the power of conditioning until you become aware. You blame yourself for what you did, and you look back with what's called hindsight bias. Knowing what I know now, I never would have done what I did. And what happens as result of that is that causes you to feel that guilt, as though somehow you were aware of what you weren't aware of at the time. And so you blame yourself for it, and your ego wants to gain control, so it wants to go back into the past to try and rewrite history, to try and redo the wrongs that have been done. That's why you can't let go. If you set up 100 dominoes and the second to last domino hit that last domino? Could it stand there and say, I did that? See, the reality, brother, is every wave has the whole ocean behind it. You can't see that you were a byproduct of your conditioning. You were in a subconscious program 24/7 until you felt the pain, saw the light, and became aware. But see, that awareness allows you to give yourself the greatest gift that God is trying to freely offer you. Which is called grace. Grace and guilt cannot exist at the same place at the same time. They're like oil and water. And God, my brother, is giving you grace. See, sometimes in our life, beautiful things have to be sacrificed in order for us to learn and grow and come to the precipice of change. There's beauty in that. You see, amidst the tragedy in your life, you can start to reflect on this. But stop the guilt, because the guilt is doing what? Chipping away at your self-confidence, chipping away at your self-worth, chipping away at your self-esteem. And it's putting you in a position where you're starting to just ruminate. Can't get out of the cycle of negative thoughts, negative feelings, negative behaviors, negative experiences, negative outcomes. You're living in another program of guilt. I want to encourage you right now, this first step in the process requires you to Forgive yourself because you can't say that you're aware that you were in your own conditioning and at the same time forgive yourself and recognize that you should receive the grace that God wants to freely offer you. Brother, grace and guilt can't exist at the same place at the same time. Give yourself grace because God is freely offering it to you.
