99% of the interactions and problems that you have when you walk in the door with your family could be solved with better body language. Body language is 75% of communication. A lot of times you walk in the house and your energy is just off. You already got that look on your face. You're not walking in the house smiling, excited, happy to see your family. You're walking in with some energy that's off, and everybody around you can feel that. And I know because I used to be that guy. Not even monitoring or aware of how my behaviors are affecting people around me. Do you ever think about that? How just your energy alone, just the way you carry yourself, the energy that you bring into the home. Would you take your trash cans from outside, bring them inside, and then pour all the trash into your living room? No, you wouldn't. Well, that's basically what you're doing when You're coming home from work and taking out your anger on your family. That's basically what you're doing when you're bringing some energy into the home. And I get it, right? As men, we work hard, and when we come across that threshold, sometimes we don't realize the burdens and the stresses that we're carrying into our family, into our home. So it's our responsibility to be mindful of the energy that we have and be self-aware and check your energy before you walk into the home, because nobody wants the hair on the back of their neck to stand up when they hear their dad or husband's car pull around the corner, when they hear that garage door open up. Don't you want them to be excited? Don't you want them to be thrilled when you walk in that door, that your energy alone just lifts your family up? Who wouldn't want people in their life to feel like that? Only somebody who felt so insecure and small on the inside that they had the need to belittle other people so they could appear superior. Let me say that again: appear superior. But we all know that behavior is just super transparent because you're really revealing how you really feel about yourself. Your behavior says everything about you, why you're triggered It says everything about you. When are you going to start to look inside and figure out what it's saying?
