Your whole life you sought after this one thing, and you've tried to find it in the external, only to come to find out that it was never there at all. That's why sometimes you feel like your life is empty and hollow, because you're trying to use everything on the outside to numb and fix everything on the inside. True power, brother, is what you've been seeking. And let me tell you, power is not a position. Power is an emotion. Power is an emotion. It's not a position. See, your version of power has been in the external, and it's been based on how other people submit to your obsession with control. But your obsession with control has left your power out of your hands and in the hands of people, places, things, circumstances. And so when anything doesn't go your way, you lose your power. And the only way to gain back your power is to try to control the external. That's why you try to control the external and you're hyperfocused on the external, is because you can't control the internal. You're trying to use exterior solutions to interior issues, brother. You're missing the mark on what true power is. It's virtuous power. It's a man who lives in alignment with the best version of himself. He's self-monitoring. He's constantly governing and aware and creating a powerful level of self-awareness, consciously observing his life to make sure that his actions, his, his thoughts, his energy, his emotions, the words that he says are in alignment with the man he wants to be. It's in your emotional intelligence. It's in the way you handle your emotions, the self-control you have, learning to respond and not react. It's in your physical intelligence, understanding your mind-body connection, your addictive and compulsive behaviors. It's in your self-worth, knowing what you're truly worth and using boundaries and self-discipline to secure that in your life. It's in your spiritual identity, Walking in alignment with the will of God, free from heavy guilt and shame, living authentically with a clear conscience, with integrity, inner peace. It's your mindset, stepping out of the victim mentality and getting into a growth mindset, having tactical focus. Brother, power is not a position. Power is an emotion. And my question for you is, why have you not been living in this truth? And why have you not realized that you can cultivate the true power within yourself? Depending and relying on people, places, and things puts the power in their hands, puts the power in things that are out of your control. True power is only found within. And if you want to hide power, if you want to hide greatness from a man, just hide it outside of him. 'Cause he'll spend his whole entire life searching outside of himself and never find it.
