Brother, you deserve peace. You deserve peace in your life. You deserve to have some semblance of tranquility in your life. You've earned it. Well, my question for you is, when the peace shows up in your life, why do you sabotage it? When the peace shows up in your life, why do you resort back to your addiction to chaos, because that is the epitome of self-sabotage. People don't know how hard you fought for the peace that you earned. You deserved it. You earned this peace, blood, sweat, and tears. And see, that peace that you're lacking in your life is found within yourself. When you no longer tolerate dysfunction in your life, when you elevate the standard in your life, and when you say enough is enough to anything that hinders me from being the best version of myself. If it takes me away from my greatness, it's gotta go. If it robs me of my peace, it can't be a part of my life. And sometimes a part of changing isn't about knowing the destination as much as it's about knowing where I no longer want to remain. Where I no longer want to stay in my life, places in my life that I will no longer tolerate because they rob me of my peace, my God-given right to protect my energy. You deserve peace in your life, brother. You deserve that. You fought long and hard and you've, you know, you've waged this war within. What does it pay? To try to have peace within but be at war with the world, or warring with the world to try to establish peace within. You can't find peace within yourself if you're at war with the world. You can't find peace within yourself if you're at war with your wife. You can't find peace within yourself if you're overanalyzing, micromanaging every little thing in your life. You deserve peace. You deserve peace. Peace without dysfunction. Peace without chaos. Peace without poor communication. Peace without passive aggression. Peace without any moment in my life where I need to sacrifice the peace that I've earned just to be in control or to prove a point or to prove my worth or to prove something to another person because a lot of people are committed to misunderstanding you. And you don't need to go into the external to try to establish that peace anymore. That's something that's found within you. It's something that's found within you when you set the bar high and you no longer tolerate a life that is suboptimal in terms of where you can live your life. God wants to give you peace, and he's offering you peace and the character-building potential within everyday experiences. These situations aren't triggers, they're opportunities. They're opportunities for you to say, no, I choose peace today. No, I choose tranquility, serenity within myself because I deserve it.
