Chapters
Men are not validated for their heart, the heart they have. I mean, when was the last time that somebody in your life pointed out how good of a heart you have? See, the reality is, is that men inside our society are only valued when they can perform, when they can accomplish something. The problem is, is that so many men with good hearts, so many guys that have good intentions, good motives, are not valued for those things. And so that causes us to suppress and put up walls, wear the mask and the facade, and to truly turn off the beauty, the essence of who we are, the gift that God's given you. But don't let that stop you from having a good heart. Don't let that stop you from doing the right thing inside your life, because special people, people that you need to have inside your life, will value you for your heart, will value you for the person you are deep down because they know and understand that that person deep down inside is a great leader, is a great man, and believes in a higher purpose for his life, believes in giving back to others. Never ever let the world turn your heart hard, bro. That's the worst thing that could ever happen. Don't let the pain that others inflict on you, don't let the way that the life— that the cards that life has dealt you turn you into somebody that you're not. If no one's told you today, I value you for your heart, and I'm sure there's many other people out there that do too. Never lose that part of you, man. That's one of the most beautiful things about you, and that's one of the most beautiful things that other people who truly love you will always cherish.
