In this motivational sermon, Tim Arrigo urges men who feel stuck in darkness to rise and take active responsibility for their families and marriages. He frames the marital journey as a spiritual battle, likening challenges to David versus Goliath and describing an inner conflict between two wolves—one representing destructive habits and the other positive virtues. Arrigo stresses that men must first support themselves with the right community, then nurture their wives and children through provision, protection, and emotional care. He calls for concrete spiritual actions: praying over one’s spouse and home, speaking life‑giving words, and intentionally “sowing” seeds of joy, gratitude, and redemption to reap a harvest of victory. The message culminates in a call to persevere, repeatedly “go to war” for the family, and reclaim the God‑given right to lead with courage and perseverance.

Hey brother, I know you're in a dark place right now, but your family needs you. It's time for you to rise because your family needs you. They depend on you, and they depend on you not just to provide and not just to protect, but they depend on you also for nurturing. Yeah, that's right. For nurturing, for you to support them. But in order for you to support them, you have to support yourself. You have to have the right people in your life to support you. I know you're in a dark place, brother, but see, the greatest thing is when you're able to rise from that dark place to take the form of something new. Because God's always doing new things in old people. And this is your David and Goliath moment. And see, the greater the giants that you face in your life, the greater the victory that's on the other side of that battle. That's on the other side of that battle, which is a battle of valor, a battle of courage, a battle of might, a battle of strength, a battle that truly tests a man to the core of his existence. Are you willing to go to battle for your wife? Are you willing to go to battle for your family? Are you willing to go to battle against the things that are trying to rob, kill, steal, and destroy every beautiful aspect of your life that God ordained and blessed you with? Are you willing to go to battle? Are you willing to go to war? Or are you in the state of sitting back in your house, taking on the role of a passive man, a man that chooses passivity and safety in his life and the comfort zone in his life, but he's wasting time. And as you reach the end of your life, you're starting to ponder and wonder, what do I do from here? You and your wife are in a roommate situation. It can't stay like this. You gotta fight for your wife. And instead of warring with your wife, you need to war for your wife. Let me say that again. Instead of warring with your wife, Why don't you start warring for your wife? When was the last time you laid hands on your wife and you prayed for her? When was the last time you spoke words of life over your wife? When was the last time you prayed over your home? When was the last time you went to battle with the enemy within? The enemy within you. What voice are you listening to? There's two wolves inside of you, brother. The one that survives is determined by the one that you feed. What are you feeding that wolf? You feeding that bad wolf all the negativity? You feeding it self-destructive behaviors and vices? Are you feeding it pessimism, cynicism? What are you feeding that wolf? Because your good wolf is starving. Your good wolf looks emaciated and pale. It's time for a harvest in your life. It's time for you to sow a seed in your life today. To sow a seed, not a seed of doubt like you have been sowing. You've been sowing seeds of doubt, seeds of regret, seeds of fear. It's time for you to sow a seed of joy. It's time for you to sow a seed gratitude. It's time for you to sow a seed of redemption. Because guess what? Guess what? When you sow those seeds, where you sow a seed, you will reap a harvest. And it's time for you to reclaim your victory. It's time for you to take territory in your marriage. It's It's time for you to go to war. Rise, King. Rise, rise up. Stand up. Doesn't matter how long this fight goes. You show up back in your corner, you let the cut man tend to you, and you get back in the ring. You war for your family. That's what we do. It's called perseverance. And that's your God-given right.
