It's time to remove the mask. The mask that you're wearing is making the real you, the authentic you, invisible. People ask you all the time, you know, how are you doing? And you say things like, I'm fine, I'm good. But on the inside, brother, I know that on the inside you're hurt, you're wounded, you feel like you're not living at your full potential. You feel like a victim. You feel like you've lost your edge. You feel like you have no one that you can turn to to talk to that would really understand. And when you do actually get to that point of talking, you're afraid that you sound weak, so you go back to minimizing and suppressing everything that's going on with you. I know because I've lived this way. This mask that you're wearing, the mask, the everything's okay mask, the I'm fine mask, the chameleon mask, the mask of bravado. All these masks that you're wearing, they're, they're making the real you invisible. See, it's time to remove the mask. It's time to live a life of transparency, honesty, brutal truth, and accountability to being the best version of you. The excuses that you make about why you can't change, or why you're hardwired the way you are, or why you're too far gone, they're all excuses. You and I know that you're negotiating with a lesser version of yourself every day. You're literally choosing to live in the gray area because anything that you're aware of that you're now not changing, you're choosing. And that's a harsh reality that we have to all come to accept as men. You want to be more than a paycheck, and I know that. You want to be validated and affirmed and recognized for more than just, you know, the money that you make. You want to feel like you have value that you offer your family. And see, the value is really becoming a better you. The value is when you are able to lead, when you're able to be emotionally available, fully present. That's the true value. Remove your mask today and live in the truth, because you deserve that.
