No, you never want to admit this, but there's times where you think about the fact that it might be better if you were alone. You, you think this, that you'd be better off if maybe you didn't have a family, that if maybe you were single again, that maybe— and why do you even entertain this thought? You feel really guilty about this. It's something that you keep a secret. The reason that you do this is because— is the pain that you feel every day from the accountability, the responsibility of, of, of and for your family that you're not living up to, that you're not taking care of, that you're not really holding and cherishing and valuing. And so the, the pressure of knowing that you need to change but feeling helpless and powerless to do so, the procrastination, the self-doubt, the fear, the excuses that you make cause you to live in the gray area. And as your family suffers, it causes you pain. And what do you want to do instead of overcoming your own internal struggles? You'd rather just escape again and avoid it and just be— not be around your family as much because you get into this pity party, this victim mentality of, I'm such the problem here. It'd be better off if I just wasn't around. How many men do you think are literally running away from their responsibilities because the weight of that responsibility is crushing them and crippling them because they're not changing? Brother, you're more than capable of leading your family. You're more than capable of being an example, a shining example in your family. Greatest gift you could ever give your family is a better version of you. There is chaos and there's destruction in your family because you're not leading. You're leaving a foothold for everything negative to come into your family. Protect your family. Lead your family. You are capable of doing that. Stop telling yourself that you're not. That voice that you have in your head, that voice isn't even you. You're just the thinker of those thoughts. How many times has that voice led you to somewhere positive? Look where you're at right now. You should have fired that voice a long time ago. You should have fired it a long time ago. You're better than that. Stop entertaining the idea of, of escape. The only reason you entertain the idea of escape, because it gives you temporary relief. That's like when people think about suicide. It's just the thought of the suicide that allows them to experience a little temporary relief. Let me tell you, the more you entertain that thought and the less that you step into your change, the more that that thought's going to become a reality. And is that what you want? To lose your family, lose your wife, literally lose everything because you're just not stepping up to the plate? Losers do that, and winners like you don't.
