Short excerpt from a YouTube discussion about using ChatGPT to speed up report writing for surveyors. Speaker A explains their practical workflow: copying clauses from a report into ChatGPT and asking it to expand, reword or rephrase them, noting that even fragmentary or minimal input yields coherent, context-aware output. The segment focuses on time-saving and workflow acceleration.
And you've started using ChatGPT to simplify parts of that process. But in parallel we've been building a solution with you that will enable you to truly accelerate that process. Yeah, so the ChatGPT thing, that it's absolute game changer because in fact what I used to do was I would have, I think most surveyors will do this. They will take the basic script that's in already in the program, then they'll amend it and then they'll have their own clauses which they'll just drag and drop into the report. But that takes time. What I literally do is I cut and paste the clause, put it into CHAT GPT and I'll either say expand, I'll say reword, rephrase, whatever, and it will churn out. But the brilliant thing about it is that you don't even have to put sentences. You can just put little words in and it could be complete gobbledygook. Well, it isn't gobbledygook. You know what understands the context. Yeah.
