Tim Davies explains why most businesses use AI wrong: they ask it questions instead of feeding it continuous data. He predicts AI will soon work like a virtual executive board, monitoring performance in real time and recommending actions that actually move the needle.
So I think at the moment the vast majority of people and businesses who are using AI are using it on a question and answer basis and so it is aware of the situation that they're currently in based on that prompt exchange. Yeah there's very few businesses that are pulling together sources of data that give an accurate representation of the business so that an AI can effectively be continuously in the loop looking at what is the performance of the business and having that holistic view of a business and then making recommendations to the MD CEO that says here's the steps you can choose to take that could take a material difference. That's the situation we'll unquestionably get to so that a one man business can effectively have a full board that is supporting roles that you need that are sentient and aware of what's going sentient are aware of what's going on within the business and can make legitimate recommendations and can provide the output to then action those.
