Suno generates usable music instantly with full commercial rights, while Artlist limits licensing to three client channels, making it impractical for creators with many clients. The speaker has had ongoing disputes with Artlist over this restriction.
It's pretty phenomenal. Like, you don't— it'll generate 2 songs instantly anyway. Most of the times, the first one it chucks out is, is fine and it's good. Um, and I'd been having a few, uh, customer service arguments with Artlist over certain licensing issues because we work with so many clients. We need to be able to whitelist certain channels, and Artlist will only allow you to whitelist 3 clients. Which is absolutely no use to us. Um, whereas the AI Suno, it's got just commercial use, and presumably because it's completely generated, there's no way that it could get flagged for copyright.
