A brief conversational excerpt (YouTube transcript) where Tim Davies and another speaker discuss the emerging capability of AI systems to autonomously connect and integrate with other systems to solve problems, and the need for guardrails and constraints to keep such self-connecting systems safe. The tone is cautiously optimistic about breakthroughs but aware of risks.
I'm excited to see as, as the sort of the AI systems that are out there as they get an increasing ability to integrate with other systems without having a human sit there and manually connect up. So one of the things that we do at the moment is we look at what, what technologies are available to solve problems rather than building things from.
Scratch and.
Then we're connecting them up. Right. So soon I think there's going to these, these models and systems are going to have the ability to connect themselves without us needing to, to be so. Well so explicitly do it. Maybe at first it will start with we want you to integrate with this and this and eventually it'll get to the point where they can find the best way to do it themselves.
Yes. Which is a little scary. Yeah. We need to give them guardrails. We need to make sure that those controls and constraints are in place. But I think you're absolutely right. These sort of self solving, self connecting systems will produce huge breakthroughs.
